I would recommend BBC channels and film channels (i.e. the ones you pay extra for, but have no commercials during the films). Unfortunately, most of what they show is shite anyway.

So stick with DW. :)

Regarding unusual places from which to browse DW, the base at Treble Cone ski area was pretty cool. After a few runs down the mountain you could nip inside for a brief trolling session on the coin-operated terminals while sipping your coffee. 1337!
