    3D models for Doom

    Hey There, I open up this thread for creating and collecting a source for all models that are considered "Ready for Use" with GZDoom. And Therefore I start with my "Counter Strike: Source" modelpack. - All models are static props in .md3 file format including basic MODELDEF and DECORATE, MAPINFO and Textures. - Intented to be used with GZDOOM and Ultimate Doom Builder. - For full functionality use UDMF map format. - Due to the custom 3d bridges that override the originals that come with GZDoom you are able to set width and height of the hitboxes directly in Doombuilder. - To be able to see the models in Doombuilder, make sure you have the "GZDoom.pk3" and "Doom2.wad" included in your resources list in Doombuilder. link : https://www.nexusmods.com/doom2/mods/28

  5. Hello there, it´s me, Warchild (also known as warchild_89 in the zdoom forums) author of Doom 2 Nemesis and Ballern. Doom 2: Nemesis, former known as Doom Dimensions, is a project that was originally started with Doom Legacy v1.42 and has since then moved to GZDoom to get rid of all the limitations that made the concept impossible to realize. Active participants on this mod: Warchild (2006 - 2022) mod Type: partial Conversion Mod status: alpha tech/gameplay/map demo recommended Port and IWAD: GZDOOM (Port included in Mod and started via DoomNemesis.bat, but you need your own copy of Doom2.wad in the GZDoom folder!) map format: UDMF mandatory Freelook: mandatory Jumping/crouching: mandatory Renderer: OpenGL mandatory (todo: Vulcan needs a seperate config) Content so far: -------------------------------------------------------------- Theme: Space Station orbiting the moon Maps: Titlemap, 3 maps connected to one hub map ACS: Scripted events, interaction with environment, (dialogues), (trading system), Quests, patrol spaceships fly by the station in skybox. Textures: Yes 3d Models: Yes 3d Floors: Yes Custom Weapons/Items: Yes Custom Monsters: Yes Custom Sounds: Yes Custom Deaths: Yes Shaders: Yes Voxels: weapons/Items only Custom player class: Yes Friendly marines: Yes Gore and Blood: moderate amount (configurable via binding key) Environment gets affected by events: yes (e.g. the 3d satellite model in the skybox cacthes fire after Invasion, space station interieurs degenerate from lived in and tidy to a bloodbath. Space station exterieurs catch fire and smoke.) Technical Specs: The NEMESIS "Engine" is a custom "Engine" based on the particle fire enhancer mod to improve visuals and basic game logic, Stuff that is build upon it, including NEMESIS are considered to be addons, to improve what´s already there. Any Weapons added to the mod will use LED´s generic weapon mod as a code base and are therefore considered addons to this particular mod. This mod has no relations/roots/compatibility to brutal doom and is actually slightly older. It is also not meant to be seen as rivalry of any kind.
