  1. hiya, to answer your question, if you want to play Man on the Moon, you'll want to do the following:

    1. make sure you have Doom 2 bought from Steam or GoG or something. once you have the game bought, you'll want to locate "doom2.wad" that comes with it - that's the important part
    2. download a source port that's Man on the Moon is compatible with, like GZDoom or PrBoom+ (I don't have a link handy at the moment, sorry) or something
    3. put your doom2.wad file inside the folder where you installed your source port
    4. download the wad file for Man on the Moon (click the link Catpho gave you, click on one of the "download mirror" buttons on the right side"; New York is always a good one)
    5. unzip the .wad and .txt file you get from the download somewhere on your computer, such as in the same folder as your source port
    6. drag and drop the Man on the Moon wad onto your source port's exe
    7. voila

apologies if you already have some of those steps covered. I think there are a lot of good youtube videos on this process out there, but we really need a big, bright red forum post somewhere to make this stuff really visible! if you run into any issues, feel free to make a post in the "Doom General" subforum and someone should be able to help you

Thank you. I believe I figured it out!

Ah, sorry for misinterpreting your request SquirrelModsz, and thanks Tango :P Btw, @Doomkid has a pretty good beginners guide to Wads and sourceports (no idea why it isn't pinned, will bump later), and Doom wiki has a useful page on running wads. Just throwing it out there in case :)

  2. Hi SquirrelModz! The current Doomworld Downloads page is having problems at the moment, so it's best that you download at the Legacy Idgames page until further notice (it's on the top bar of the site, below the Downloads (Beta) button). Here's the link to Man on the moon btw.
