I'm pretty sure it's overlapping sectors, or a bug like that -

Im running this on a crappy computer, so taking screenshots would have probably blown up my computer -
In my attempt at making a sector I have accidentally created a room over room effect in the boom/doom format on UDBuilder. It acts like a normal sector but is separate somehow...
