  1. When I try using this sourceport with mouselook off, the player view always skews off-center at map start. Is there a command to re-center the view? Also, given that this port relies heavily on console commands, is there an exhaustive list of cvars that can be used with Helion?

    Anyone know when 0.25 will be released? Also, I was wondering if there are any good step by step guides out there that explain how to build DSDA Doom. Would appreciate any suggestions!

    Clicking sound Prboom+

    I'm glad this is being mentioned. I've always had issues with weird sound clipping in PrBoom+ and DSDA Doom i.e. when raising/lowering walls. Hopefully this can be fixed in a future update.

    I don't want to jinx it but the FPS Limit option seems to have fixed any issues with input lag I had (using a g-sync monitor). Setting FPS Limit to 141 (I use a 144hz monitor), with vsync off, framerate uncapped, in OPENGL mode, and using 1440p resolution I now no longer experience any input lag. It feels so good...

    I hope you've watched or will watch some Cyber City OEDO 808 (UK edition). Easily one of the best Cyberpunk animes besides Ghost in the Shell... IMHO... Thanks for this amazing WAD!

I'm trying to compile this source following the chocolate doom build process here: https://www.chocolate-doom.org/wiki/index.php/Building_Chocolate_Doom_on_Windows but I get stuck at the step "./autogen.sh --host=i686-w64-mingw32." Does anyone have an idea about what I'm doing wrong? I'd appreciate any help... :/

    Makes sense. I was just browsing the source ports forum thinking it contained all the latest source ports but I almost missed DSDA if I hadn't seen it mentioned in some other thread. Also, big props to kraflab. Not only is DSDA the best performing source port (after some tweaks), it also has the best mouse implementation next to gzdoom. I always have some amount of mouse lag with the other ports for some reason but not here. You can press F11 in-game. I think that's the default key for changing the Gamma setting. I have it set to 2 or something like that. It is definitely darker than other ports.
  10. Love these maps. Especially the low enemy count. Not sure why but I keep on replaying the first map also. :p Can't wait for the full release.

    just wanted to bump this thread, since this is the source port giving me the best framerate compared to everything else that's out there. and I've tried it all (gzdoom, prboom+, woof!, eternity, etc.) really enjoying it!
