@Master O took the words out of my mouth re: ancient China, that's something I wondered about from a similar thread a couple years back. Other themes which I also thought would be neat to see (the first few of these, I also brought up in that thread): * 90s CGI rendering, in the vein of ReBoot and The Mind's Eye. * Silent Hill otherworlds, particularly the grimy, industrial one in 1 and 3. * Silver Age comic books and mid century sci-fi * MySpace/DeviantArt (not in that way)/Newgrounds (also not in that way) edgelord/scene kid look (There's actually a third person shooter in development that draws on this and other looks of the time) * The Appalachian mountains or really any general south-eastern US locale (outside of Miami) * Yume Nikki dreamscapes

Was a bit scared by the title of the thread but I'm glad that the split was amicable. Feels like you don't hear too much of that from old corners of the net these days. I don't really think about OCRemix that much, not really my scene, but I hope the road ahead is as bright as it seems for them.
