All you Philly people can look outside. It's about half an inch so far. Funny, I was out walking earlier-- it didn't feel cold enough.

Pfffttt never count on Seattle having snow. Whenever you hear the weatherman predicting snow in the Puget Sound area, he's lying to your face. If by some stupid luck it happens to snow, it will not stick to stop school or work.
Well I dunno about Seattle proper, but we occasionaly have some nasty snows out here in Kitsap county. Like back in December of 1996 we had 2-3 feet which was crazy because it kepts snowing and lasted for about a week or two. We seem to have 2-3 snows that can halt everything for a couple days every couple of years. This year is probably going to be one of them. It's even worse in the Seabeck area on the west side of the ridge here. They get about 2x the snow we do.
Today though we got like 1/4 inch of snow and it began to stick but then we had like a half hour of sleet which made most of it melt away. -

Taken during the first dusting of snow, eventually 4-5 inches accumulated, not too shabby for Seattle. -
