I always liked the idea of putting my own ideas into games that I like and making levels for Doom seemed the best way to do that. I also like just making things for games in general so making levels for Doom is just an extension of what I already like to do.

Either slaughter maps or adventurous maps. Slaughter maps are pretty fun just to kill demons in but I like it more when there's some exploration and even some open world elements that adventurous maps have.

- Playing good maps - Playing multiplayer servers - Being able to spend hours playing Doom and not feeling guilty about it

It's the beginning bit that just keeps on playing in my head.

Maps that expect you to beat them first-try just seem too easy and a bit boring to me.

Looks good, nothing gets me more in the Christmas Spirit than playing some Doom.

Both 'Doom' and 'DOOM'. I use whatever fits in the context of what I'm saying.

Pretty secret, but not impossible to find on your 2nd/3rd playthrough

As long as it isn't relied on too much in a level, then it's fine.

Just finished Abysm 2: Infernal Contract and moving on to the expansion. Also been playing a lot of Ashes 2063.

- Making my own music for my maps - Making new weapon sprites - Learn how to make maps with more abstract layouts and environments - Get involved in a community project at some point
