Is DOOM 64 the best looking N64 game?

I think it's the best looking Classic Doom game, I'm not so sure about best looking N64 game though because it has quite a lot of competition to go up against.
  2. This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you so much!
  3. To give you the long and short of it, I've been trying to figure out how to properly add custom textures to Chocolate Doom because I figured it was a good habit to get into if I wanna try making custom maps, so I followed this video here, which worked out really well, except the only issue is that now my added textures are jumbled in with the vanilla textures in UDB. It's not a massive problem for me but is there a better way to add textures to avoid this issue at all? Because it'd make things more convenient for me when making the actual maps, thanks.

How do I use Spidey's ZDoom Font Generator

This is really useful and everything, but my problem is when I try to export the image I've created as a .lmp it still just never gives me anything. This is what my screen looks like, by the way: What I've done is export the .fon2 I'm trying to edit using slade, converted that .fon2 into a .bmp with imagetools and just modified the colors. Now whenever I try to convert it back into a .lmp the font generator just never exports anything. Also just for your information, yes I did try converting the image into a .pcv using imagetools and it gave me the same result except the preview's blue now which is... something I guess.
  5. I've been trying to generate a font from an image with Big Head Spidey's ZDoom Font Generator but for some reason when I go to export it, it just never exports the actual file? It's really strange and frustrating, because I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Do I need to have the input file by a specific format or something? I can't really find anything about it online either (though there was a tutorial on it I found but the site it was hosted on has long since passed away I think). Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Things about Doom you still don't understand

Into Sandy's City does not play during a city map. That is all.

    What are you playing now?

Finally getting around to trying to complete Doom 2 for the first time, Doom 1 and 2 have been on my to-do list for a while but I decided to go for Doom 2 first just because I'm more familiar with that one. also because it has the funny skeleton dude in it

    Gravity of Phobos and Deimos

My personal theory is that Doomguy was actually crawling throughout the entirety of Doom 1 and just gripping the floor really hard, but due to technical limitations they couldn't show that in detail

    Favorite soundfont?

Since this thread got sorta revived I guess, what's SC-55 Up if you don't mind me asking? I've never heard of that one before.

Doom 64 now available on GOG

It's cool to see this game still getting supported, even if it's just a small rerelease

Mighty Doom Gameplay and Review (Android)

I am in fact very satisfied with the knowledge that Mighty Doom was a real thing and isn't just some weird fever dream I had once.
  15. Thanks, man. I'm afraid this is pretty much the extent of my knowledge but if I encounter anything else, I'll be sure to let you know!
