  1. Hey guys, another blog from me.

I'm thinking of purchasing an AGP to PCI-e Adaptor. I have this X850 and I don't wanna waste it. it runs faster than this POS Onboard. I was wondering if anyone here has seen these.

Just buy a new PCI Express graphics card. You can probably get a cheap one similar in power to your x850 for the same price as the adaptor. Also, you don't need a comedy piggyback card.

For some scenarios that may be fine, but I know I will most likely want something like this as I have recently purchased bfgtech's seemingly last and most powerful agp 8x card, and I paid a pretty penny for it. I had to buy something because my other new card was crap and the one I had been trying to replace initially was acting up. I would like to go to 64bit before this card's life is over, and something like this would allow me to extend the life of this card. This of course all assumes that it would be economical to do so. If this piggyback card is at a high enough price then I would probably reevaluate a number of decisions.

Yeah, like my dad's old Toshiba Tecra. He tried to install a PowerVR card in it back in the day, but I don't remember if it worked.

YOU MEAN THE PCX2?!?! ZOMG POWERVR CARDS ROCK!!!

I tried to install a voodoo2 on my ibm thinkpad's docking station, it failed.

I also lost the docking station to my tecra 150mhz

      :(
