Yeah, I'm afraid I'll just have to maybe stick a visual only portal really close in front of it that looks into a copy of the space behind it, and script that on and off instead.

Hi, all. I'm wondering if there's a better way to hide a static portal besides sticking another line or raising a sector in front of it? I know they can't just be turned on and off like interactive portals, and I still want that sweet, sweet map overlay effect that statics have. An interactive portal would ruin the illusion of different realities occupying the same space. Ideally I'd like for it to just appear invisible like any other open doorway until it's turned on.
