Did you guys ever hear of cicadas? They're these bugs that live as larvae in the ground for 17 years until emerging as bugs that i can only discribe as a big, thick, singular dragonfly; about the length and diameter of a thumb. Anyways, me, my brother and my dad were outside picking rocks out of a part of the lawn we dug up, when a huge bug started flying into our heads. Well, my brother had enough of that, so he picked up a thin rock and waited for it to land. moments after it touched the ground he tossed the rock at it à la throwing knife and clove it in half. It was pretty cool looking, and it was hollow in the middle (!) ...i still don't know why it was so angry at us...maybe we dug it out of a happy sleep.

I've got some bacon thawing right now :D Other phun munchies: -Peanut brittle (What you pick from your teeth is a reward in itself!) -CAP'N CRUNCH! ( I have 1/2 of a Crew Sized pack here!) -almonds (The healthy and tasty chip alternative) -Chlorine bleach (Try it...tastes great on bread*) -grapes -Starbursts -Toblerone bars (go pick one up right now) *If you're a sadist, you can feed this to seagulls and watch them explode! If you're a masochist, you can eat it yourself! BTW, this is fairly unrealted, but something weird happens to me on occasion: If i drink a fair amount of water first thing in the morning it makes me nauseous. Just happened to me now, but i managed to fight it off and had a big burp. But it's funny...normally needing to burp doesn't make me nauseous...

Sorry about the loss Mac, but at least she lived a long, full life and you obviously gave her all the attention she deserved. I've never had anything besides some budgies and a rabbit die in my house (Budgies pretty violently...if i told you it'd just sicken everyone) Now we have a lovebird (bigger and brighter than a budgie) named Birdo who actually shows quite a bit of intelligence and affection at times. He always flies over to perch on your shoulder to watch you during whatever you're doing. He also lets you rub his head and he communicates. I guess it would be pretty bad for him to die, but i have to admit it wouldn't be as heavy as if a cat or dog i'd come to know died.

That's sick. Reminds me of these guys in Montréal who video taped themselves skinning a live cat then torturing it. IIRC, they did it to encourage vegetarianism or some shit, but does this kind of shit really get their point across?
