To me :D I turned 19 today (March 13th). I thought I might post some pen/ink and digital works I've been working on. The first is a Sin City esque look, the second I colored a bit quick :\ I need to work on it some more.

They're a bit large so I linked them :) -
I just got settled here at the University of Vermont after moving in last weekend. Classes began last monday and I felt a little overwhelmed the first couple days, new place, new friends. I live in Wills Hall now since all first year students are required to live on campus. It feels really weird being in college now, like the last 18 years were just to get me here. I'm majoring in Graphic Design but I only have one art class this semester since I have alot of general classes.
I'm starting to get to know the place a bit now after having been here a week, I hope I can get involved a bit too now and get to know some people around campus. :)- Show previous comments 11 more

Make sure you major in something you're INTERESTED in, or if that's impossible, major in something you KNOW will allow you to easily get a good job.
Don't even go to college if you aren't ready to work your ass off and get good grades, because otherwise what are you even doing there.
Live in the dorms as long as possible, you have the whole rest of your life to live in apartments if you want. Dorm life is like nothing else you will ever have.
Do everything humanly possible to make lots of friends and do lots of stuff with people, otherwise you'll be miserable.I'm doooooooooooooooooooommmmeeddd. :D
Okay not really, but these pointer dee-lees are of help to me. :D -

Some of my best friends I made living in the "dorms" at the Community College. We always did crazy stuff, sneaking booze into campus, getting into stupid trouble, drugs, womanizing (just kidding). But Like Ling said, do it early and as long as you can. Partying and the stuff I used to do doesn't thrill me like it did... largely I'm sure because I don't really know anyone... but also, that stuff doesn't interest me liek it once did. I just want to get out of school now and move on, I'm sick of it.

Well not quite ;)
With just 3 weeks left of school, I'm excited to almost be done. I have my Senior project due soon and I'm a bit worried about how that will go. Since I'll be going to college for graphic design, I wanted to put together a full package for an imaginary video game, kind of liek what Scuba did for Action Doom. I've been designing box art, packaging material like promotional items (like Dwango type stuff ;)), instruction manual and CD artwork. Plus I designed some Advertisements for it in magazine format. I really hope the panel grading my project will like it.
Also, I hope to work on my CC3 map as soon as school is out in 3 weeks ;) -
I turned 18 today. My parents took me out to eat at the Three Stallion Inn, I absolutely love their fettuccini alfredo. I got burnout 3 for my XBox which is really fun :)
I also am trying to decide which colleges to attend in the fall. I thought I might go to The University of Vermont or maybe Albany. I want to study graphic design and I hear that both schools have a decent design program. I'm leaning towards UVM since I don't know if I can afford the out of state tuition.
