It depends on whether you want the level to be "challenging hard" or "annoying hard." For challenging hard, give the player just what they need to get through the fight. For example, you can kill a Baron of hell with 12-14 shotgun blasts/6-7 super shotgun blasts. If you have two barons in a room and a shotgun, you would need at least a shotgun and a box of shells to make it work. I would only put the bare minimum of ammo on UV. As far as health goes, you would need to put more of it in a smaller environment if you were to use Barons because without much room to move around, the player is more likely to get hit. Think of how much health the player will need. Playing through it several times and seeing how much you get hurt is really the best way to gauge this. "Annoying hard" will disregard the above rules because the author hates you. Don't make "annoying hard" maps.

The HUD weapon graphics are misaligned. It's most noticeable with the chaingun muzzle flash. And, IMO, 3d models for doom sprites look about as good as sprite-based monsters would in Half-Life. Since I've only got an Android device with a resistive touch screen, I won't be playing this. Probably wouldn't run on the device anyway from the look of those water effects.

I was curious to see if I could move a skybox camera around in ZDoom. It's possible, but it doesn't handle turns very well. Sorry about the lack of sound. Fraps wasn't being cooperative today. -
The first map is pretty hard. Nearly impossible until I found the SSG. The exit doesn't work, so I'll warp to map02. EDIT: MAP02 is less difficult, but I passed the exit line before I could kill the last monster. I'd suggest putting the monsters on the rising floors (tag 1) somewhere else to avoid getting stuck in those pits accidentally.

I played maps 1, 2, 29,999 and 30,000. I found the secret exit in level 2 by opening the console and typing "map map29999."
