Yea I can ********-ly see the image there, I have 15-20 ultra sound photos of my 2 little girls and unless you've really sat and looked at photos like that you would shrug it off. But, yes I can see the fetus in that image...very cool. why is the word def-inate-ly being stared out like a bad word?

I really liked the Cherub, but I found them a little annoying, I mean if you don't get a good hit on them at first sight they are on you in no time slashing away. They also come at you in swarms not 1 or 2 here and there. Still like them, a little annoying to get a bead on.

You want disturbing go to BANNABLE OFFENSE! you want a graphically creepy game check out Doom 3. I haven't been around here in awhile, I came back around to see what was going on, and seems nothing has changed since D3 release. Still people piss'n and moan'n about the game not being this or that. *shrug*

Speaking of Halo, it was a horrible PC FPS. I don't like console's but I did get a copy of Halo for PC after a friend of mine just raved about the Xbox version for months and months. I played about half way through and uninstalled it. If that's the best FPS Xbox or any other console has to offer I'll pass thanks...

Then why is it you see 2-3 posts a day on here about being stuck or lost? I mean come on...I can see getting stuck or lost in any other game but Doom 3? All you need to do is keep going straight and check doors if they actually open you're heading in the right direction...if they don't circle back and look for a PDA for a code or an access card. *shrug* Oh and take your time to look around and not just move from room to room waiting to blast something. You have a flashlight shine it in every ocrner of every room and on every desk...even walk up to each desk to see if you grab something off it.

No one is argue'n about anything, so take some prozac and go build a mod yourself heh. You're the one that's gotten all worked up, if you don't like the conversasion here go to the next thread. Or better yet go talk about moding in the Mod forum, thanks.

An RPG is an combonation of the stuff you mentioned, not just 1 certain element, look at Counter Strike you buy weapons for missions etc on it before you play or do a mission and it's not an RPG it's a FPS / RTS in my opinion. An RPG would be a game with quests, stores, scripted conversasions, even player characters, With a long term goal in mind, not a short term goal. FPS has no real long term goal other than getting to the boss at the end. An RPG has multiple goals or things to do, not just go get a key, but you can go get a key, go do something completely different come back to drop said key off even days later, multiple paths to the same long term goal and multiple paths to a short term goal. Not classing a game because of someones way of thinking is *shrug* you can have "generes" but isn't that still the same as classing it under an "rpg-ish" or "fps-ish" class without coming right out and saying it?

Actually in the opening of the game the ship comes in and lands through a hatch...You don't see any guys, the ship lands the doors open slowly to the shuttle then Bet and Sarge come out followed by you. Then you see a guard checking a shipment and some dishoveled scientist on a bench. If you look up the hatch is closed. So really the 2 other npc's could have possibly walked out to the landing area as soon as the ship lands and the hatch closes and goes through the pressurization proccess. You never really see the 2 of them standing there as the ship comes in and lands, and you can't check to see if the hatch is closed until it zooms you into first person perspective.

I've been at work the past few days and in the job I'm in I'm surround by several tv's so I have one on G/tech tv and they had a show on games, one show was on Doom 3 with some call in stuff blah blah blah. Another show I saw just Sunday night was about other games coming out. Me and a buddy was sitting here doing our job and checking out the show, when we both sort of looked at each other, I spoke up and said "all these games coming out or already out are DARK!". He said na, it's prolly just the tv, so he goes over to it cranks up the brightness which it was all the way up. Then we turn on the plasma HD tv we have here next to us and watch the show, the games are still dark, some were even using flashlights. WTF? Why are a majority of the new releases and soon to be released games now all going to the dark side? I told him I'm ready to play some Kirby Adventure in Fun Land or something to get a bright sunny game to play. I think it's wierd. Even when I log in to play my mmorpg's I'm usually logging in when it's night...Getting a little old and going blind playing these dark games.

Blade of Darkness had awesome lighting? I sort of liked the game but awesome graphics/lighting to me it didn't have *shrug*

I've been checking out Warhammer 40K Dawn of War Beta, it's a RTS but it's really cool, that's what I'm playing with until something better comes out for Doom 3. Also I big into playing online mmorpg's so I'm playing in a couple of those I've been involved with, waiting on EQ2 or Dragon Empires to come out.

Basically that's what the whole thread has been about, but I don't really care because that's what I expected from a FPS but most people want to throw off on it *shrug*

Point is GTA is not a FPS type game it's an action adventure game almost like an rpg. SO it's completely different than Doom 3 which is a FPS. Nuff said.

it's like you see movies lets see like hmmm...Star Wars you have the big bay doors open for an x-wing or something to come in and land, and you have all the guards standing around, they don't get all sucked out the hatch when it opens do they? The bay door opens the ships comes in and lands the bay doors close slowly and everyone is cool.

Compare'n grand theft auto to Doom 3 is like compare'n some who can make a sentece without the word fucking in it, to someone who can compose an intellegent sentence without any profanity "dawg" yo yo.
