I have released a very small vanilla compatible map pack for Doom 2. It currently only features 2 maps right now, the 3rd and final map coming soon. I’m just very proud of how far I have come in the short time between now and my first map that I could not wait. You are allowed to archive it and upload it to other places, just please credit me. Anyone have thoughts and info on D!Zone? Wondering by if anyone else remembers that thing. In my opinion, most of the maps are pretty shit (no offence to map creators), and I also heard they just stole maps from the internet (which were free) and resold them into a package. The worst part is that many specifically asked not to have their maps in D!Zone, but were put in there anyways. Not gonna lie, that sounds pretty scummy to me.

Seems like an oversight from me. I didn’t even realise it. But anyways, the wad will forever be encased in two zip files.

Yeah, I just kinda gave up on the second part, the first part and beginning of the level is my favourite part of it. I definitely could make it feel a bit more lively, and a bit more challenging.

I know it’s only gonna get worse from here. This shows that Bethesda cares enough to add a mod browser but not enough to moderate it.

A graphics card that can run doom eternal. Once I get it and my dad can get the computer set up, I will no longer be a Mac gamer! I had good times with that Mac, but also very laggy ones. So both good riddance and good bye to one of the worst things to game on.

So, I love Brutal Doom. Bloody, Violent, Merciless. But I want to use custom maps in Brutal Doom. I use GZDoom (obviously), and I am wondering if there is a way you can run custom maps in Brutal Doom. I just wanna chainsaw a bunch of demon’s into pieces in something like nuts.wad, allowing basically infinite murder. Or a map that won’t crash on my crappy Mac.

When I first played this port, it had it’s issues, but it was better then the unity ports. Built in mod support and multiplayer shows that they care about the community, and I haven’t really played a lot of the new expansion, but from what I have seen and heard, it seems pretty good. There are problems, but they aren’t as bad as the problems of the day-one unity port. I still prefer source ports, but it’s still nice to see. (Also, you can’t play mods on switch? How the hell do you fuck that up on a 30 year old game?)

Thanks for the video! Although there is no sound. But anyways, I am hoping to release my next 2 maps I recently made sometime soon.

What do you call the pink demons that run at ya and bite you real hard?
DiceByte replied to KitKatrina's topic in Doom General Discussion
You are either referring to my dog, Dave, or the ones in doom, which I call pinkies. -
So, I, a Mac user (until the graphics card comes in the mail), just figured out how run gzdoom and use the map editor eureka. The map isn’t GREAT by normal standards, but at least for me, it’s a start. Hope you (at least kinda) like it! (btw I made it for the intent to be used on the gzdoom engine, but I may port it to vanilla sometime soon hopefully) fireblucaverns.wad.zip

I am on console, so I cannot get that mod that allows me to add summoners and other extra cool stuff

Btw, update: I am in console.

If you really feel that this is in the wrong subject, please feel free to move it, moderators. So a piece of Doom history has officially been removed, and is not likely to be officially seen again. Mighty Doom has shut down. Forever. Whoever you liked it or not, this game is still a huge part of Doom, and even after it is gone, I still count it as one. It was one of the best mobile games out there in my opinion, so to see it go is actually very heartbreaking. I wish to all of the people who have lost their jobs (Mighty Doom is shutting down because the companies, such as alpha dog games, behind it are) luck as they try to find a new job. Huge thanks to all of people who worked on this project. I love you all.
