Remove user float chase_type, chase_up, and chase_back. You don't need those. Here's a screenshot. -

You know what I want to start from basics instead of heading into BIG projects to understand how this engine, and C++ language works. I REALLY WANTED TO BE AS COMPLEXITY AS SONIC ROBO BLAST 2! I am stretching myself too thin. It is not only what I want to do. I also want to reverse engineering Jakks Pacific Spider-Man, and even making my own verison of Spider-Man.

I know yikes! I came to my error of my own ways and starting things out slow. Now, I've got the hang of the print statements, already understanding how loop and while loop functions work (thanks to Python), understanding even more better understanding of how variables work, and integers! I love love this process more than just what I was originally doing. I don't hate as much anymore. I let go of rushing things down and floating on water. It wasn't much burden anymore. At last, I really love taking my breaks so I don't always constantly looking at ways to fix the GODDAMN syntax error! GODDAMN I HATED THAT!

OHHH so, they made their own chase camera and they made it default. The GZDoom engine read the script and made it in the way Doom Shinobi wanted too. If that's not what you are saying then, I'm still confused. What are we talking about?

How come I can't toggle on/off Chase Camera when I played Doom Shinobi? I don't get it.

What do you mean it is unlikely for them to use CVARs for the chase camera?

I don't really get how this code works exactly. I was messing around Doom Shinobi and Third Person.wad and I realized that these mods use CVAR for Chase Camera. I think this is how they made it default camera mode instead of toggling it from First Person to Chase Camera.
