    Patch bug [Help wanted]

    just found a way to fix it, you need to compile the map using doom III's engine, then reopen it, all big patches will have mnissing textures, put textures on them again and it will work.

    Hey guys, recently started to use Gtkeradiant 1.5.0 seriusly but found something rare. The patches work just fine, but once I get them working perfectly. I go to compile the map and once I load the map.. all Isee are BLACK walls where the patches were suposed to be... when I mean black sectors I mean absolutely no light, like a blackhole in these parts (tried with flash light too ) and no, the map is NOT LEAKED because the wall is continous behind the patches. According to GTKE's view, the patches are fine, but.. are they wrong? are they inversed? Hope you guys can give me a hint because its odd. *edit* Just found something after I reopened the map ( wich was now compiled ) all patches suddenly transformed into blue things saying "NO SHADER FOUND"

    well its crappy, its just a main build done in 3 days.. but I got very depressed when comparing my total utter crap against the impresive Hal's "entriway" of doom II for doom III

    he could do very good of a "scared civilizian" in the doom movie, but of course.. the director should NOT tell he's in the movie so he does these more than realistic scared faces lol :P

    to be honest, I think that mesh gets too easily scared because HE TALKS TOO MUCH! common guys.. he's that distracted talking to his friend who is doing a video of him and not thinking what it could happen. I always save, run like mad, shot everything and then reload the last saved game, its slow... but you dont get killed that easily ;)

    hey shaviro, how you make these good looking lights? been triying some variants in the small section of my map and seriusly, I suck at placing them or something. what kind of light you usually use? and how much power?

    GTKradiant 1.5.0 Compile?

    I know Gtkradiant latest beta doesnt have a "build" menu, but I heard there is a way to use the console of doom III to compile it. is there a way to do it? using "map map1.map" in console always asks for a map1.proc then halts giving an error claiming its missing

    ok got it thanks someone in the radiant's irc network said the 1.5.0 version doesnt have a command to build so you have to build it manually ( thing I did by using dmap in the doom 3 console and then "map bla bla bla.map"

    inded, romeros' head was the kick-ass in the doom II it was like a huge archvile summoning enemies everywhere

    just updated to the newest radiant, and I keep getting crashes.. seems it doesnt like to load the textures of doom III, i cant compile them either..

    seems you dont get what walktroughts are. you dont need a forum to get these... go search for doom III walktroughts if you dont get my point.

    pffffffffffff, hell knight then got used to say baron of hell since I played a lot of doom 2 more than doom 1... the most general enemy of the bigger ones were the baron of hell :O

    barons of hells arent that scary as they where, wish they had a more demonish looking. and now the modern alien-like monster they have atm :/

    reading walktroughts could be considered cheating too ;) because you know HOW and where.

    any idea how to get this? I think I would try doing 3d map styles then converintg them to doom III since im absolutely DONT LIKE the editor and the radiant style. -_-
