That's the MIDI as it currently sounds on my soundfont. In other words you may all eventually get to use my soundfont. Kaching

DooMAD, you have a good point. In fact, last night I decided that I would not be charging for it.

I have a high quality soundfont but ZDOOM fucks it up for some reason when usign Timidity :( :( :(

I remember trying ZDoom's TiMidity support; it was messed up because pick up sounds would momentarily silence the music. That was not long after it was implemented, though. But SDL's TiMidity (in Chocolate Doom, PrBoom, etc.) works fine.

This set does not seem to be really appropriate for DOOM music, but I'm only guessing from these MP3s.

The problem with doom music on soundfonts, specifically the rock ones, is that it's hard to choose a good electric guitar sample. You think it'd be easy, but there are MANY styles and sounds out of a simple electric guitar. Amps, quality of the pickups, the kind of strings, the method of play, the controls and quality of the recording all contribute to the sound of a guitar, and to be honest I've never heard a guitar like the one in the MS wavesynth.
