Haha, wtf man i can run doom95.exe on winME, and the fucking original .exe's off shareware doom and doom 2 work fine too..

How do I load up an external pwad. custom maps and stuff. There's no documentation with zdoom 123 =\

A friend and I were in a stealing phase (we were like 12) and we were at EB thinking how easy it is to nab those trading card game thingies from behind the counter..

Anyway we snagged descent shareware + doom shareware.. I ended up letting him keep the doom CD and made my mom buy me one (a cooler disc with maps of the levels and interviews and shit on it).. i never did buy registered doom i waited and got ultimate doom..

my first times playing were on the gateway 486dx with no mouse and no sound/music (well. i used the PC Speaker beep sounds). (none of this crap would work in dos.. i had fucked something up) But i still played it every damn day till the computer broke down.

Daikatana is really fun, but fighting robot bugs and alligators in the beginning is snoozes. I like quake 2 but I can't stand a game that don't have co-op, unless it's quake 3. Also, there can only be so many cyborg/dumptrucks with shoulder rockets in the apocalyptic future! Geez o man!

The Generations Arena mod actually wasn't half bad. I expected Doomguy to suck... But they pretty much got the speed and rocket shit down, the single barrel shotgun looked wank though..

So what exactly does it make it do? Looks to me like its telling windows/browser to look for ugo's ad server on your computer (thus not finding shit to pop up)

And how can i find out the advert servers of other sites so i can block it all and have that nice hosts file on a floppy after each format?

I just erased the white areas to transparent in Photoshop (sometimes it doesn't work it shows a no smoking sign hehe.. got lucky or accidently did something right this time)

create a file in notepad and put this line

body {background: #000000}

save the file as style.CSS (rename txt to css if notepad fucks itup)

now in each of your HTML pages, put this line between the HEAD tags

link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css" /

put some carrots arround that line of course (dunno what the board would do to it) (keep the /dash)

now in that example as long as the stylecss file is in the same dir as your html files the BG will be black underneath the bg image.

sounds like a pain but of the 3 x i went there twice the bg hadnt loaded and i was staring ata white page for a minute =)

back on topic, NO dont sound like doom to me, reminds me more of quake2's surfer metal

Pretty nice site dude. Here's some suggestions

Fix up the images (doom logo, torches) so theres no white speckles around them.

Use .css stylesheets and add body {color: #000000} or mayhbe its body {background: #000000} so while the background pic is loading you can still actually read the bright text (impossible wiht white BG).

britney is hot, and people that say she ain't are just trying to make themselvs think that to be different. Besides people only hate her cause she's soo popular among 11-14 year old girls, and her music sucks. Use the Doom Legacy launcher EXE, theres an option for software or hardware (openGL) graphics rendering. Any other options can be configured in game. Point the launcher to your DOOM WADS (it has 4slots) then checkmark the one you want to play (Doom.wad)
