After a fair amount of effort importing a Sound Blaster Pro 2 pure chance gets me a Sound Blaster 16.

Server migration worked I guess.

I've had varying headache for about 3 weeks now, along with problems with vision.

Had my head scanned finally today, they found something that does not belong at the back of my head.

Can't say what it is exactly yet from the pictures, but it's most likely metastasis of the sarcoma that ran off with my arm last year. Bugger doesn't want to give up that easily it seems, and is back with a vengeance.

Going to Helsinki sometime next week, and they're probably going to operate on it right away. At least I hope so.

And I am posting here instead of blogs because I can! Ha ha!

I lacked anything better to title this thread, and since the end result will probably be the same no matter what I title this thread I figured, why the fuck not? Anyways, now for the banworthy bit, I am leaving doomworld, the doom community, and etc. Maybe not all of it, and maybe not forever (though undoubtely this place is a forever), but yeah, I'm gone. Something about needing to get my priorities straight or some other such crap. I can see you all asking "Why do I care?" I hope you don't, I just felt like writing this shit down. Neways.

Well, technically my mum scored it, but:

A hour ago a delivery guy came around, handed me a package, I signed it etc etc. I saw mum's name was on it, so I figured it was just another gift that some random dude from some dating site. I noticed the Sony logo on the package, looked at the invoice and saw "PSP base pack white" and was shocked to think that some random person would waste a relatively large sum of money on my mum that she's never met in real life. I looked at the invoice more carefully and noticed two things of interest:



1) The price/value columns have nothing printed in them
2) The customer account number is 5,000,000

Admittedly I didn't notice 2) until a fair few minutes later, and I was thinking of why the hell a PSP would arrive and she never informed me about it.

Then it hit me.

She just scored a free PSP.

I don't know how the hell that was possible, but it's sitting on the kitchen bench, unopened. I don't know what firmwire version it has or what she's gonna do with it, but I know that it doesn't suit her lifestyle at all (since she doesn't get much time to play video games nowadays) and there's a fairly good chance that she will give it to me because she won't have a logical use for it that I can currently think of.

I should note that she's still at work and when I tried to ring her mobile, she didn't respond. I don't even know if she's aware that she just got a free PSP.

I can't find some important papers I brought home from class today, their due tomorrow. I looked for them everywhere I finally gave up knowing them I left them in my portable class. I told my family about the assignment and they took it well like I expected, somehow that feels worse than going unpunished. Now I can't do ANYTHING with out feeling pangs of guilt, I told my family about this guilt, their okay with it. I'm not. This guilt though is different, I feel like I keep remembering anything else retarded I may have done to hurt, dissapoint, or lower someones self esteem. Why? Its just a stupid homework assignment, why the fuck can't I feel right? High School Blows.

guys guess what! i introduced one of my friends to doom and hes realy into doom now. Hes learning to doom edit and every thing. sooo we have ourselves another doomer. ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN!
we have our selves another doom marine defending earth from the bowels of hell.

Life.....it is so dangerous and poisoning.....yet at the same time it is so invigorating and enlightening.

I find that I am torn between bordom and a job. At this point, however, I cannot get myself a job for this summer, so will be left to do nothing resourceful in the next two weeks before school starts.

How do you other guys deal with this problem (if you DO NOT have a summer job?)

I enjoy life for what it is, and usually when thinking about this particular problem, I go for a bike ride and my mind is clear. It worked today, and will probably work tomorrow and so on......

Anyways, this is just my gripe, just my letting loose on a subject that people may or may not care at all about. Just thought I'd post on it.......
