    In vanilla you can change the "Raise" action for an unused weapon to "BrainDie" and the level will end as soon as you pick up the weapon: braindie.zip (load with doom2 map01 and pick up the chainsaw)

    I ended up getting an Autohotkey script working for changing the music in pr+ -complevel 2: (just press 'b' and it will automatically press 'idmus') b:: { send 'i' sleep 10 send 'd' sleep 10 send 'm' sleep 10 send 'u' sleep 10 send 's' }
  9. I tried changing the idmus cheat in whacked but the dehacked file isn't working in any of the ports I tried (prboom+ 2515, crispy, choco, zdoom 281).     Thanks for the confirmation. I got it working in pr+2515 and 262 but it stops working in -complevel 2. I still can't get it working in choco or crispy either but it does still work in dsda-doom in -complevel 2. Is this a deh syntax issue? or is changing the cheats in vanilla/-complevel 2 just outright disabled in those ports?

    It's a one-handed keyboard / half-keyboard. I needed something smaller to use on my lap with the trackball and was pleasantly surprised these keyboards exist.

    Every time there’s a slaughtermap thread I ask the haters to post a non-tas max demo to show their hate isn’t about lack of skill. Are you going to be the first person to actually post a demo?
  14. gggmork liked the 180key, we used to demo a bunch of the same maps but I didn't mind at all because he was a keyboarder. If there was a poll, I'd vote "no" for mousers. What bugs me is when people use the 180key in rocket jumping, instead of having to do a quick and accurate 180 with the mouse while mid-air during a standing superjump, you could just press a key for an exact 180.

    My bad, when I tried the single patch in TEXTURE1 I just realized I was editing the RSKY1 entry instead of the SKY1 entry lol.

    @Edward850 was right, splitting the sky into 4 patches made it work properly in prboom-plus and crispy: skytest.zip

    That's ok, the sky transfers will still show up if your map is in doom2 format, just type in 271 as the linedef action and set the tag.

    imo an intercepts overflow toggle should be necessary for any limit-removing port because they can happen easily in slaughtermaps, but the crispy dev doesn't agree (link).

    How to make 4 part 1024px wide sky without Slade?

    If you combine the 4 parts into a single 1024px image, then all you have to do is double-click the Patches tab at the bottom of xwe and it'll do everything automatically (add markers, add to texture lump, add to patch table, convert to doom palette). Unless I'm missing something, for some reason xwe is much easier for importing textures than slade.

    Barrels not triggering walkable lifts in zdoom?!

    I tried removing the custom height and changing the health instead, but it still doesn't work. Maybe it's just a really old bug in zdoom that's never been fixed (and still exists today in gzdoom). I tested older versions of zdoom and map04 works in 2.5.0 but stops working in 2.6.0.

    I didn't look any further, but deleting the dehacked makes it work in zdoom.

    DSDA Sky Discrepancy

    It looks like dsdadoom might only be using the top 128 pixels of the sky (the whole sky is 200px tall), so you could edit the texture lump to make OSKY07 128px tall.
