  1. I made some flash movies. They're my first attempts, but I still think they are cool. Check em out!

The flash stuff are at the bottom of the page.

Well, you can count out the symbol way for me - my animations (my avatar is one of 'em) are always hand drawn :-)

Hopefully the last questions (and hopefully I'll quit badgering you then ;-P): Does it really have to be 640 x 480? I mean, isn't it possible to make animations that aren't "full screen"?

Oh no. 640 x 480 is for tv only. For everything else, just pick a demension. 2000 x 20 if you want. :)

Here's an example of some basic symbol animation. It's about a guy and his friend who go watch movies and talk about them. There's some advanced techniques here, but alot of basic stuff too.

Heh, I didn't mean that they were downright shitty - it's just that you said it was cool and I just had this damn urge to counter that.

The animation is of course pretty leet (very good considering that those are his first flash animations - he probably spent a decent amount of time doing those), but I felt the "plot" was damn.

But hey, I liked the dodge move by Mr. Commando :-)

Hey, Lizardcommando, do you own the full version of Macromedia or what?

No, I don't own Macromedia Flash. I made it at school in my computer graphics class (I'm one of the "advanced" people in that class, so the teacher doesn't really pay attention to me :D). I started messing around with it and that was how I managed to make "teh-hat" clip. It took me a week to make "The Exterminator" clip. I also had to change the sounds and frames a bit to match each other's times. There wasn't supposed to be a plot. It's just LC running and then two guys shooting at him, dodge, shoot, shoot, shoot... you get the picture, right?

About the screen size being too big. Sorry about that. By the time I finished making the movie I realized that the screen size was set at that size by default. I have to admit though, I like my flash animations more than any of the stuff I've made in 3DMax. I've got two other movies in the making right now. Both of them parody Metal Gear Solid :P. I think I have one of them sized down to 300 x 400...

Thanks for your positive feedback guys. :)

A flash fan movie doesn't necessarily need a plot - it just needs to be entertaining to watch :-)
Oh and your second one was entertaining btw.
