  1. I've got two random suggestions for DB:
    1. Ruler tool. This would do nothing on the map, however, it could be used to measure distances on the map in the same way as Create Linedef can be used.

    2. Draw Line tool. This also wouldn't a thing on the map itself, but it could be used to draw guide lines on the screen, much like you can draw lines on different layers in photoshop, paint shop pro and others.

Also, an option to stich vertices to the guide lines would be nice (the guide lines would be considered as pseudo linedefs by the program, or something like that).

    No. You obviously didn't.

If you had bothered to even look at the downloads page you would have seen "EDGE Documentation" which also clearly has the text "1.0 Tutorials" just under it.
If you had continued to look at the contents of the page a few seconds longer you would have seen "EDGE DDF" and below that a lnk to download "EDGE-DDF-4.1.zip"

Hmm, isn't he more likely looking for DDF documentation, not the latest released DDFs or tutorials on how to create 3D extrafloors and waters in EDGE?

@Chrono:Download the ddfonline4.0.zip at the EDGE site, already pointed out before in this topic. It's third on EDGE Tools. You must click the link *below* the "Show only this release" link. (My first link was to that file on a mirror, but it seems like they don't allow linking from outside.) And don't come telling me that those guides don't work or don't exist, I downloaded them yesterday myself and did make an experimental gun with them. Very fast and easy process.

    Well, there's sv_fastweapons in ZDoom.

Yeah right, just try it. :P
You will NOT make through that map without Immoral Conduct. It's not because you need their firepower. It's because: 1. You need the special abilities such as Flares and Silenced weapons. 2. The weapon placement is designed for Immoral Conduct.

Ye, go ahead and try it. Come tell me when you get through the cave, which is pitch black unless you use flares, without cheats. :P

Whoa! It's very innovative for starlight using IDC-SE for that map!

    Thanks. :)
I'm actually currently on the planning stage of my next ICD-SE map. Got to scrap up some blueprint scetches and I'm ready to go with it - this one will "abuse" the abilities of both ICD-SE and EDGE to the boundaries and beyond. ;)

And naturally it will offer some badass challenges...

Btw, have you yet finished the map on Ultra Violence? If yes, how many tries did it take? Without cheats, of course. :) I need some input on Starlit's difficulty to make my latter maps more appealing to the wider audience.
