I have a bunch “lmp” files and would like to merge them, so I’ll have one long demo. Is it possible? Any tools I can use?

I don’t want to run prboom four times, I would like to run it once and specify list of LMPs to run in order. For example command line will be: prboom -width 640 -height 480 @doom.txt And doom.txt will have: -playdemo e1.lmp e2.lmp e3.lmp e4.lmp In theory it should work, but after running e1.lmp prboom stops and doesn’t execute e2.lmp Any idea why?

How can I do it with prboom and @response file?

I've got a separate LMP for each map of Ultimate Doom from C O M P E T - N http://ural2.hszk.bme.hu/~ha211/compet-n/database/cn.cgi and wanted to merge them together to make a "whole game" run-demo.

What are you talking about? I remember how I was buying full Doom in the store in 1993. It came on four floppy disks.

id doesn’t have it for sale (they have only Doom II and up). eBay has only shareware version (I’ve been monitoring it for several months).

NVIDIA GeForce2 MX 400 worked just fine with native XP drivers.

On my home system with XP Pro I have: zdoom Quake III Arena Return to Castle Wolfenstein Half-Life Opposing Force Counter-Strike Unreal Tournament Serious Sam Serious Sam - The Second Encounter Max Payne All of them work perfectly. And its user friendly out of the box -- you just have to customize it to your liking. You can turnoff all bells and whistles and get your NT or 98 looking interface.

I must agree with orion. I’m running XP Pro at work and home. It’s extremely stable and fast. Stability of 2000 + DirectX support of 98. It’s very good OS.
