I saw a reference in a few wad textfiles that they took music from an Ep4b.wad, but I can't seem to find said wad either on Doomworld's idgames search or by Google... anyone have information on it or where to get it?

Looks very interesting, I like some of that funky-looking stuff, such as the shot with the waterfalls(?).

I think Vulgar is kind of funny, but maybe I'm just sick. There was also a weird sounds wad that had the baron saying "Do you want to lick my balls?" and the mancubus saying "This compensates for the size of my dick!" but I don't remember what it was called.

You think he looks better? Well, you're entitled to your opinion. I think he seems cartoony and out of place.

Yeah, the chaingun-tap trick can be quite useful at times, especially in deathmatch. If you get good at it, you only lose a little bit of time on the firing rate.

Try putting some shading or something on the insignia, having it all one color looks slightly cartoonish.

I don't know if this is the right place for this, but it's driving me crazy now... when I try to use Doom Builder and open a map in it I get this: It also does some other strange things like textures (but not flats) show all black on the selection screen. It's been this way for a long time now, I think the last time I got it to work right was like a year ago on one of the early versions...

Okay, I know that bumping an old thread is generally frowned upon, but I think I ought to mention that today I completely reformatted my computer, and on trying Doom Builder again, find that it's working just fine. So obviously something was messed up on my computer, not Doom Builder.

I'm another Firefox user, though I will note that it can hog up the system resources sometimes. Mozilla is a lot similar to Firefox, I'm not sure of the significant differences. I tried Opera and didn't like it much. I have no idea about anything else.

I think that the Doom Guy only thinks Hell is destroyed in that scene, since they come back in Final Doom...

Selfdead appears to be older, it sucks though.

I think the important difference there is that printed paper doesn't glow the way a computer screen does.

I tend to be a bit of a wimp and play on HMP, so yeah, I'd say they're important. Especially on really hard maps that I might not find enjoyable on the harder skills.

Hrm... it's on Windows XP... got a Pentium III 933MHz and 128 megs of RAM, Intel 82810E Graphics Controller for a video card. Fairly old PC (3 years) with some quirks, but nothing else seems to blow up consistently in this fashion. Doom Builder crashes as indicated before every time I try to load a PWAD. Doesn't seem to matter what one. The first number in the error message does not seem to change but the second one does. It also refuses to show textures correctly (they show as plain black or plain white). Flats show okay. Constructing a small map and saving it gives the appearance of working, but results in an unusable PWAD.

I've been messing around with Heretic and ZDoom features a bit, and started making a decorate lump with some altered creatures, but it would help if there was a list somewhere of what the attributes of the various creatures & projectiles are so I can modify stuff in relation to that... does such an info sheet exist somewhere, or will I have to muck through the code or something?
