I played it my first impression was WOW! i didn't know you could get ZDoom to produce that Arcade title screen with scrolling images :) and the statistics screen was pretty damn sweet also. Nice improvement to the levels but i find the Level 10 Boss easy, (Really i do) the Chaos Elemental was the real challenge. My favourite thing out of all of this wad the awesome Ordering screen at the end, reminded me of Doom Shareware's screen and was a good joke. All hail Spork's glorious mapping skills! I've always thought that the Pistol and Shotgun look dodgy, Because your looking down the barrel POV altho it is kind of strange how he fires the pistol it should spring backwards. It looks to me like it jumps in the air

Their is a simple solution to this, when you enter the axe room, jump on the icon of the defender and kill the afrits but when the Chaos Serpents appear. DO NOT KILL THEM! Wait until 2 side walls open with dark bishops, then you may proceed to destory them.

First of all: Please do get it, It's a very good game, nice exploring and the puzzles ain't to hard, also don't get Portals of Praevus off amazon these fags are selling it for nearly $80. Bloody games based on movies, face it their worthless and most of the time crap. No one gives a damn about the game anymore, why can't we go back to the olden days with games like Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Blood etc. They should make the game enjoyable as it can be and not make bloody cutscenes or make you go in 1 direction.

Thats because theirs a IRC chat channel if you haven't noticed. Why the hell do they need to talk about Doom all the time? they share discussions on everything and Zdaemon is not Idle, or maybe you find it boring because you have no friends on Zdaemon. And that's your opinion saying that Player Connector is the best, But This persuasion isn't working on us and i proberly know where this thread is headed...

Your right forget EXP what was i thinking. But still Doom on Player Connector? Not gonna happen if we have Zdaemon and Skulltag.

Does it actually host pwads? such has dwango 5, 2dmmaps, Brit 11, CTF etc. and is their GETwad? and yes Zdaemon can be a bit idle but it heats up later in the day in late afternoon and evening.

First got/saw Doom Shareware around 1998/1999. Played the episode thought "This is really neat, I really wanna buy this." I remember visiting the Info screen about Ordering and what comes in the Full version. But i couldn't find it in stores due to it being old, but on a trip to USA i found Ultimate Doom and brought it back home :)

The doom 3 wad is hosted on Zdaemon (Drown in Blood with d3mod) but theres no real point when theirs already Doom 3 :/

1. That would take to much hard work and proberly won't be good. 2. Doom III TC in Doom 2? Why not just play Doom 3 it wouldn't be the same atmosphere and such. 3. Are you joking? I haven't seen the Doom Movie but it'll proberly be even worse to have a TC of it.

Skulltag Offline is awesome with the bots (The new version will proberly have CTF Support ^^) but online most of the servers are US so i rarely see many people playing , me in UK. Zdaemon very fun and easy to use, but not as fun as Skulltag with all the new gamemodes, powerups etc.

I think you should make this compatible with both Zdoom and Doomsday. I personally don't like Doomsday because it ruins the game with all the hyped up models etc. But don't listen to my opinion :) make it compatible for JHeretic for the fans and if it's not to much trouble. In the mean time i'll be enjoying it on GZDoom and it still looks very nice on it :)

Who are you too judge if painkiller is crap? thats your opinion but i highly recommend you get painkiller it is very enjoyable for most people (except for this retard)

You've actually forgotten a few, for anyone who has played Duke Nukem 3D you should know that a bunch of expansions were released some of them junk such as Duke Zone! which was just 500 crappy add on levels. Well this is the case for Doom i've seen some expansion packs that add 1000 levels (but it's probably a bunch of crap and you can get better wads online for free and much better quality) also i remember seeing this expansion called Doom: The Lost Episodes which you had to pay for but sadly i forgot the url of that page. Just wanted to let everyone know this. Also i don't know the names of them but their are some random addons released for doom adding like 1000 levels for doom and 2000 for doom2. By the way HACX is free now ;)

Archvile for me. If your enemy was running from you no matter what distance you could fry them (it has too be an area with no hiding) You could hire a gang on your side and terrorise people, and if any dies you can just ressurect them, sweet. :)

Totally agreed _DLD_ :) also you'll be blown away by Map20 - Eternal Void. Because the music is haunting and it fit's in with the void i stood there for a minute staring into the void with imaginations also that level gave me quite a bit of slow down.
