I've been hearing these stories since the 64 bit update that its been looking shitty and playing shitty as well (go figure). I was going to buy half life 2:deathmatch because before I updated my ram it ran the half life 2 demo okay but now that I updated it should run good but that was before the 64 bit update. I heard on story that it fried this guys 6600. So are these stories true and that half life 2 runs shitty and looks shitty if you dont have a 64 bit processor? So should I still buy it?

  I just finished replaying HL2 yesterday (with my new graphics card, everything on high at 1600x1200 is awesome) and while I still enjoyed it, it was nowhere near as good as the first time. Unlike HL1 which I probably played through 5 or 6 times just because I wanted to.
