As a Christian, this is my response to the Uganda Anti-Gay Push as well as the issue of blasphemy being illegal in Ireland:

Nems is a shortened version of "Nemesis" some of my online friends called me. I used to extensively use the username Nemesis on just about every board I registered due to a lack of creativity and laziness. I eventually broke out of that lazy habit. But yeah, Nems is short for Nemesis, a username I used to go by when New Doom was still alive. My custom title is self-explanatory. :P While I do know how to use the [img] tag, I spend most of my time lurking offline, so when someone posted an image it showed up as a link, not a picture. I thought this was how the board operated (that and there was no [img] button like I see on other forums I go to) so I simply posted the links of images and didn't use the [img] tag. That's what I get for assuming. :v

I am immune to these savings.

I had a similar idea regarding a megawad that was longer than the normal 30 - 36 levels found in typical Doom megawads and I was told the same thing. I definitely agree with this. Maybe split it up into episodic downloads for those who'd rather play through it 30 levels at a time? I think if it was done this way, feedback could be given on the first of the episodes and that can be used to improve upon the current episode and to improve on future episodes. Once all the levels/episodes have been completed and optimized, then if Agar still wants to, he could make a download with all 90 levels for those (like myself) who would play through the entire thing. Just a suggestion.

This reads like a poem written by Doom Marine before being post hell'd, only to be found on his blog minutes later. Beautiful. Also, this new snippet of Duke Nukem news doesn't surprise me nor does it excite me.

Pretty much this. Not just everyone's dog from what I heard. It also raped the dog's mother, the owner of both dogs, the employer of the person who owns those dogs, and the employer's cousin's daughter's uncle's cat. Absurdness aside, I understand why others like Steam despite my own dislike for it and having no need for it.

One of the few instances where history repeating itself is a good thing.

The only zombie/undead game I got excited over was when they announced George A. Romero's City of the Dead. A shame it got canceled. The only other zombie-only game I looked forward to and liked somewhat despite the bugs and it being a budget title was Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green. Ah well. Passing on this as well.

I use FitzQuake for pretty much everything. If I have issues with running a level in FitzQuake (the most common problem I run into on some maps is being stuck in walls/ceilings at the start and unable to move, short of using noclip), then I'll switch to DarkPlaces. Beyond those two, I don't use any other ports unless a mod/add-on/level calls for a different port.

Warning: when using a jackhammer as a self-pleasure device, you will come and go at the same time.

This. I have a shit-ton of ideas for maps and mods. However, I can't pull myself away from my hobbies long enough or get a break from my college work to dabble in using DB2, XWE, and/or Slumped. ): Also, I do know how to use image tags. However, I browse the forums as a guest/offline so much that I thought it was normal just to post the link to the image. That and the whole 'Stop quoting images, dumbass' macro led me to believe that image posting wasn't allowed/disabled. Ah well. At least I have a custom title now. [: When I was still a n00b when it came to computers, I only used Doom95 and Doom Legacy to play wads and if they didn't play them, I'd delete them without reading the readme.txt to see what was the issue.

I've been looking forward to this ever since I tried out the original HardQore for Quake 4. Looks like I'll have something to have fun with this weekend. (:
