From what I have seen of it, the movie looks pretty good. I have read all the books.seems there have been alot of book based movies these past few years. Its like they ran out of original ideas, reminds me of a bumper sticker that said: don't judge a book by its movie.

man, I had this one dream where I was being chased by this maniac killer downtown. I ran into a large building and went upstairs. he followed. then I ran into a room and quickly locked the door. I was safe for now, but then he started busting the door open. there was a window in the room, so I jumped out of the two story building. when I landed, I started running like hell around the building. then I looked back and the killer was right on my trail! I remember thinking what the fuck? just as he grabbed me I woke up.

heres another one. nearly crapping my pants the first time I saw the cyberdemon in e2m8. I walked outside and heard its footsteps.wondering what the hell that was, I started running around. I had passed it without noticeing, so I was pretty suprised when I got hit with a rocket from behind. So I turned around and... HOLY SHIT!!!!!!! I tried to fight it but it owned me. I don't think I'll ever forget that time.

that is a friggin wierd controller. I don't know about you, but I prefer my controllers to be in one piece.

The first time I played doom, it was the snes version. I was about 7 at the time (I think). I had no idea what it was. I used to get scared when I saw the former humans in e1m1 (never made it past that level). It took me a while to figure out that thing in front of me was a gun. The game belonged to the person in the apartment next door. They lent it to us. I remember one day when I wanted to play it, but it was next door and they weren't home so me and my mom snuck in the window and borrowed it for a bit. I have a lot of other memories, but I'll tell those later.

yeah, after I read that wiki I realized it does have a neat little storyline. but the first time I played it it seemed like a game where you just open doors and kill nazis. I should go buy return to castle Wolfenstien.
