First time I played DooM was in 1994 on a macintosh while I was in the military. I didn't get back into it until 1997 and really didn't play it until I found out about source ports. For many years I was a wolfenstein player but I prefer doom as I can play in degreeless mode.

I have managed to play most wads that interest me but have not played inqstr3e or even inqstr2e because game makes my man move so slow and jerky. Can someone help me find out what my computer is missing? Thank you in advance, Barbara

Copy of doom is signed by John Carmack. Doom 2 disc I stole from my brother. Got hexen and heretic from steam.

I got hooked on hexen games by finally understanding the concept of hubs from Viscerus. Awesome mapset imo. check out http://www.gamers.org/pub/idgames/levels/hexen/ for a bunch of others. wolfen had me stumped for ages until it was fixed. It is a beautiful mapset too. Caldera is the most complex so far. I've got about 114 maps that claim as hexen. Some are stinkers but with gzdoom the game of hexen is so much fun. barbara

Long before zdoom became a part of my life, I remember trying to play a wad that just didn't make sense. I believe it was my first experience with a wad that needed more than dos. The only thing that sticks in my mind was a teleporter in a bathtub or shower stall. Also had an eye switch. It may have had quake like enemies. So, if you know of any wads that specifically have teleportation to/from a bathroom fixture, I'd love to know.
