  1. But gave up once that chick started singing, "In heaven everything is fine." I can't say whether it was too disturbing or just not my kind of movie. I'm starting to lean toward the former, though, as much as I don't want to admit it. (Yeah, I know horror films aim to make viewers uncomfortable, but this was out of my league). I'm not saying it's a bad movie by any means - it's a very good one - but I think I'll stick to stuff like Evil Dead or The Omen from now on.

Oh well, at least I can say I tried something different. :\

I've never seen it, which is odd, because I'm one of the few people who enjoy David Lynch.

He has made a lot of really amazing stuff.
Twin Peaks and Mulholland drive being my favourites.

I haven't actually seen Twin Peaks either. My liking for him is based entirely off of Dune, Blue Velvet, and Lost Highway. Teh lolz.

The only Lynch thing I haven't seen is The Straight Story. I'd have to agree with Shav's assessment there. I'd have to say Dune was actually the low point of his career thus far. The art direction was second to none, but as a movie it spent way too much time on overdubbed exposition. But hey, I still bought the three disc special edition and will sit down to watch it on occasion over any other Lynch film so it's not all that bad.
