im Looking for the link to the tricks one can use to make there levels look better in Vanilla doom... im hoping anyone could come up with it or point me to the site with the link.

Thanks :P i had an idea of making an oblisk in this fashion in a level for one of my wads... soo many ideas but cant use them due to pc down x_x thank god tomarrow i get my power unit

I guess its my reading comprehension.. i didnt get much advice from it, just complaints.. so its my bad on that. Edit: just to get more than one or two people to answer.. heres a quesiton i posted on a thread in the editing section: is it possible to have just the floor sloping and now both the floor and ceiling together? ( I will try to incorpate this into my editing when i get my pc >.o oh and this is Renagade btw. ))

i was reading up on this and see that it is not that complicated as the other Zdoom effects were and was wondering: is there a way to slope just the floor.. or Just the ceiling>? instead of both at the same time

they wernt as bad as you say, maybe you should, instead of flaming them, maybe give him some ADVICE.. I mean god.. sure you can say they were bad but that was just your opinion.. and if you found it hard tune down the setting and play though =/ oh.. and give advice... thast the better thing to do with each complaint

no.. its going to become one level within one of the two wads i plan on working. one titled "gothicka" (cause it uses the gothic texture pack with some hexen/heretic textures and a few sprites) and one that will be called " Shadow of oblivion: corruption within. " ( which will use the level that Ezxariarch tested for me.. and.. it will be thursday when i start again ;) Edit: the concept will be somewhere between lvl 10 and lvl 20 Edit Edit: And whats with the wad name?? did i take someones idea?

yeah the version works very well, i wish i would get my pc part soon.. i got an awesome concept i want to put to pratice ( its a level that is mostly pitch black and high off an insta death floor.. mostly relying on ZDoom's invisible bridge objects... there will be some solid ground places as well >_> ))

damn =/ that error only does for me when i dont have sectors on the map i saved... so i dont know what to tell you.

Errr.. i -cant- at the moment, not that i dont got a map that has this feature ( ive been experimenting with small one or two room maps to try and figure it out) but my editor and stuffs are on my pc and its waiting on a new power unit.

im doing everything that is said on the Zdoom tips page and by looking at the first level of the second episode in skulltag.

i have tried this and.. nothing o.o even if i followed the instructions on the Zdoom website to the letter... am i doing anything wrong? (this is renagade on a diff comp btw..))

thanks.. but my cuz got ahold of the wad file somehow and deleted it for revenge cause iwouldnt give up the pc >=/ and deleted the contents of the trash can program *sigh* so i dont got it.. my pc is down and im typing from my moms.. sooo i wont be mapping for a couple days... and i got an idea t hat ill impliment what you showed me ( a pesudo-gothicish nighmare wad... or something (btw this is renagade cause i cant get to my renagade account)
