  1. My old man was always getting me crappy games when I was a kid, because only his work had the internet back in the early 90's. Most of them were educational, but they were my first games. some ones I still reminisce about include:

    Math Rescue
    Word Rescue
    Skunny Kart
    Elf Land
    Halloween Harry
    Pickle Wars
    Treasure Fucking MathStorm

And of course all the old Id Games. Wolf3d, Commander Keen 1-6, doom, etc.

I didn't have an SNES back then, or even an NES, so that explains my crappy early games. Getting all nostalgic and emo here.

Anybody else play some of my selections above?

Math Rescue and Word Rescue were actually really good platform games.

      Agreed.

Skunny Kart was a fun game too.

ROFL, I thought I was the only one who ever played Skunny Kart. It wasn't as good as Wacky Wheels IMO, but I barely remember Skunny Kart anymore.

EDIT: Oh wow it was in the original post. Somehow I missed that.

EDIT2: Here's a game I used to play back in the day a lot. Possibly the best adventure game made, and the odd thing is that it wasn't made by Sierra:

      Return of the Phantom
