umm... as far as ACS scripting goes, I'm a newbie. But i do have PLENTY of experience using Java, Python, *gag* QuickBasic and Visual C#.A money system wouldn't be too hard. I could do that, someone just needs to make maps for me. -

I havent uploaded anything to the /idgames yet. sure, i'm in. zdoom i presume? -
It would look better if the textures matched the sprites. didja consider actually making some textures like they were from the original game?
-
The textures could use a makeover too...
-
sooo... how do i do this again? EDIT: Decorate, I got it.

I've moved all the Doom64 palettes, sprites and all that junk into a wad, i'm beginning to work a DECORATE lump to change some of the monsters, items, weapons, etc. since the new sprites are way taller, how can i adjust the player's height. That is, how can i make the view that the player sees higher up to accomodate the taller sprites?

Is there a WhackEd tutorial out there? because i want to (1) Speed up the chaingun a bit and (2) if whacked supports zdoom, is there a way i can boost the damage of the A_RailAttack?
-
Does the latest version support quake 2 better? It seems to mess up the palettes in quake 2.
-
Atari 2600. Does that count?

Sweetsauce! Need a beta tester?

Well, in a nutshell. I was playing on a Quake 3 server, and i thought i would choose a name for my player that would invoke "bad feelings" towards me, thus making me a bigger target. I've been playing quake 3 since i was 12, so needless to say, I took first or second place every time. The name is Camoflauge i guess. I thought i would keep it on another id software related game site. But back on topic. When i load pk1.pk0, it says "Quake 2 not supported yet"
-
Nah, i just wanted to speed it up by about 25%. decorate lump is better for new weapons. what i really want is to boost my railgun...
-
Okay, my new chaingun is awesome. so does anyone know how to supercharge the A_RailAttack using the DECORATE lump?

Q: How can i get true color stuff in gzdoom? when i load stuff in XWE, it automatically converts it into the Doom palette, how do i fix this?
-
I need an artist. Im making a Doom64 themed wad. But the Revenant sprites from doom 2 look dumb. Somebody wanna help make a new revenant looking thing? I'd kinda want to make it look like the arch-vile from Doom 3. help?

To address Vader: I have made many sprites before. I programmed a "spy hunter" type game in pygame for a programming class, and i made a whole bunch of 2d car sprites with paint/the gimp. They didnt turn out so bad, they actually looked like real cars. Its just rotations that irk me. To address Vageta. I borrowed some of the Doom64 tc sprites to replace some stuff(namely the unmaker and cacodemon). Yes the Doom64 converted to the 256 color palette (they look fine). Can i have PNG sprites? Yes, i have taken sprites from Hexen, i think i found one that I'll convert to a grayscale, then make it more doom-ish. I dont happen to have blood or shadow warrior. are there demos i can get? -
Is that a confirmation, or a "oops, i figgured it out without yer help"

I am perfectly capable of making sprites. Rotations are what get me. sigh... well, i guess i'm just whiny, i'll suck it up and do it... -
ok. so "load raw data" (your png images) then add them to pnames. go to the texture editor, make your new texture, then goto the menu "texture" and select "add patch." it will then put some random patch on the new texture, then just change it to the new patch (the one you just added) in pnames. then save it. better?
