  1. A decent, fun map that takes 5 minutes to complete (if that).  It looks nice and has an interesting setup where you are woefully underpowered to deal with the cyberdemon blocking the exit.   No complaints really, worth playing once.

  2. I enjoyed this and thought that it was a well made level for '96 (wish I had played it then as it would have had a greater impact).   Texturing is bland as another has said, but not terrible.   The thing I liked about this was how it kept opening up more sniper's nests to keep you on your toes.  I really liked the open-ended layout and thought the town was well done.   It's a good map for explorer type players.

  3. A very nice first map with some interesting details and a spaceship!   Doom needs more spaceships.   Combat was a little flat (imp stairway for example) but not terrible by any means.   Found 66% of secrets on first try, so I can see me playing this again.   A fun map that is worth 5 minutes of your time.

One of the greatest levels in Doom.   Hellrun is a intricate dungeon crawl of a map with tons of enemies strategically placed to wear you down as you figure out this map's layout and secrets.   A classic.

Wow, so that's how it's done.   Sverre Kvernmo has made a masterful expansion to his original ideas used in Time Gate (Map05 of Eternal Doom).  This is a work of art that plays well.   The level had me running for my life, looking for ammo and wondering where the next attack was going to come from.  The stealth enemies were vicious and well used.  The secrets were well earned and clever I thought.   I loved the piano room-just beautiful.  The overall experience was outstanding, though hard.   Well worth it.

One of the best early levels focusing on exploration. Slightly ugly by today's standards yet extremely atmospheric and well worth playing for the non-linear adventure that follows. Highly recommended.
