Not only Reddit & NeoGaf, believe me. Usually, people think negatively of new DOOM because of: 1) it's a multiplatform game, while, according to some doomers, "it should be PC only"; 2) Bethesda's involvement in the development of DOOM (recently one man told me that imp's current design makes him look like a Falmer from Skyrim, almost identically); 3) SnapMap's limits; 4) Unability to accept almost any new ideas to the new DOOM, e.t.c. Sometimes it makes me think that people don't understand what is exactly that they do want. Could be more reasons as well, though. Myself - things that I hear & read about DOOM are being much positive, than I imagined.

Just how many updates did the PS4-alpha get since the end of the previous alpha-testing? And yes, guess id will notify alpha-testers about "when and how". All they have to do is just wait (unfortunately, I don't own PS4).

id.dav, I think that he means this: 1) "It is not the Beta (offered with Wolfenstein®: The New Order™ pre-order)" 2) "a demo" And if in case of first thing we do know it already (the "pre-order" stuff), then in second one - what kind of demo? A demo-version, for everyone? Like it was with Doom 3?

It probably won't. So the only think I'd advise you - run wad on Zandronum. Yesterday I checked blue skullkey's whereabouts there, and it was on the platform. And yeah, a friendly info, BTW. Seems the whole Cheogsh trilogy is suffering of that GZDoom problem. Cheogsh 2, for example - in the New City of Damned, there's a specific teleporter that sends you to a cage, somewhere in the darkness, where you must fend off ghauts and flying skulls. And instead of sending you INTO the cage, teleporter gives you a sh*tload of [censored], sending you UNDER the cage, meaning instand gib death for player. Nice, eh? Also, Realms of Cheogsh suffer of the same problem - in the City of Despair map, that is in space. So basically, there are 2 possible outcomes: 1) using noclip + fly; 2) switch on Zandronum. I wish there could have been 3) GZDoom FINALLY works properly with that, but... y'know...

Yup, it's GZDoom problems, especially of the new versions. I remember that some time ago I mentioned this problem on the ZDoom forums, and Graf took a notice of that, and after a while he told that there's a compatibility fix of that. However, I did not find this fix even up to this day. What went wrong? Ask Graf. And yes, I think that Cheogsh works well with Zandronum. You might want to check it out.

Dunno. Ask those who dislike it :) ATST - was D64 your first DOOM or not?

Because it was not for PC - for a console. Some people dislike that - in their opinion, Doom is PC-only series (also, not all monsters are present, different visual style, lack of multiplayer/metal music...). Me? I'm fine with D64 EX. And I do like it very much. What surprises me as well - not many of these people are accepting the fact that id did supervise D64's development.

Well, long before I always thought that Quake's engine is simply called "Quake engine" (yours truly, Cap :-)). But after Mr. Carmack's reply... well, I guess - you can say that.

Well, the only thing I hope that may happen - someone'll record these panels, and upload them to YouTube (maybe even Bethesda themselves). At least nobody have said that DOOM presentation on E3 will be closed one, right? -

Guys, you mentioned about pentagrams - what about candelabras and other infernal decorations, besides already mentioned hanging body parts? Were there any of them?
