    Performance improvements for console ports?

Apparently, the Saturn version could have been easily fixed by just enabling use of the Saturn's GPU, Carmack tied their hand behind their back because he didn't want warping textures. Would have been a preferable alternative to unplayable choppiness.

    Performance improvements for console ports?

The two ports that probably could have been improved the most are the 3DO and Saturn versions. The former was ported by one person on a crunch, the latter was denied GPU support due to Carmack not liking the texture warping it caused. The 32x version could have been improved for music and content but they probably did the best they could in terms of system performance.

Why did GBA Doom include 'green' blood?

Just to dash the claims that it was Nintendo's doing, the GBA port of Wolfenstein 3D had an M rating and was completely uncensored. Ever since Mortal Kombat did poorly on the SNES, they stopped caring about blood and gore in third party games. Furthermore, the SNES version of Doom also retained the blood and gore.

Doomero, as always, has proven that he's a tech wizard when it comes to Doom mods.

    The Romero Tricks

That one especially seems sensible, to start with the last level backwards and work your way to towards making the first level last. Not necessarily in an exact order, but to make sure that you know everything you want the game to possibly have by the end and then systematically remove them as you go to ease it in.

How does one make high quality sprites

I don't believe in luck when it comes to things like this. If this is what you truly want to do, learn from the pros. Look up tutorials, go on sprite forums, ask around. As Kore and Phobus have pointed out, there's also the option of using pre-rendered sprites. Honestly, sprite making isn't my forte either. If I make sprites, they'll likely just be snapshots of 3D models, I'm better with those. Try giving 3D modeling a shot.

I think my computer is hitting its limit as to how much more of Doom 2016 it can handle.

    Doom Eternal won't have Snapmap

To be fair, Doom 4 looked like it was shaping up to be a Call of Duty clone but I'm guessing they were talking about the E3 trailer where it showed it was no longer like that?
  11. Not just the UAC Guy trying to sell their Hell exploitations, but the ones that show Samuel Hayden, Olivia, and UAC Employees carrying out tasks or just trying to not be killed. The more I think about it, this kind of mechanic could see some real good use in atmospheric games where the idea is to make the player feel isolated while also showing remnants of what the place used to be like or how the people got in the position they're in, like ghosts of the past. Although, I think Bioshock technically did this before Doom did.
  12. Ever since I got the new GPU, Doom 2016 has been running great but I've noticed, going through Advanced Research Complex and a fair bit of Lazarus Labs, it's now randomly having freezing fits as I'm going through them. The music will keep playing but it'll just be at a freeze frame, with the mouse sometimes being taken so I'm forced to use keyboard motions on Task Manager to force it closed. I read that setting the Virtual Page to Low and making it Borderless Window help, but I've tried both of those and it didn't stop the freezing fits. It doesn't freeze consistently in the same areas, it seems to be at random. I've actually had it freeze in the menu, before. According to someone I know, the game has memory leaking problems?
