  1. I heard that my map, Map32, had some unpegged lines, and something about inaccessible secret areas, but I couldn't find them (You have to shoot a switch to get to one of the secrets). They are minor fixes, and I was wondering if someone else could fix em real quick.
  2. Ah, I guess I pressed the wrong part of the pillar or something. It didn't work for me the first time, but when I just tried it, it worked right. Maybe I was just sleepy or something, it was at like 4 in the morning.
  3. Sorry if I haven't said much, was a bit busy this weekend. But I played up to map3 this morning, and so far, its pretty cool. Nicely difficult. One thing though, I noticed on map01, if someone falls off of that platform that raises to get the red key, there is no way back up. Maybe a switch to re-lower the platform might be good. Also, the chaingunner ambushes make the difficulty on this one fairly high, especially for the first map. I died twice, and I was only playing on medium. Maybe chaingunners should only be present on hard? IDK. Map02, nothing so far. Maybe another play-through might reveal something. Map03 is cool. One thing I noticed, the scrolling floor textures look kinda... odd. On the higher platform, one scrolling floor moving into the other is just bluntly ugly. Perhaps the boundary in between the two sectors should be diagonally placed, instead of a horizontal / vertical line. Also, maybe another texture could work better, like a COMP texture. I know COMP is overused and bland and such, but it might just look better.

  7. Isn't its release date soon? Heh, I remember making my maps back in summer school, thinking that I'd have to hurry up and finish them. :P

  9. Hmm, any idea where the unknown thing would be? I've been looking around, and all I see is normal doom monsters and pickups.
  10. Alright, that sounds good then. A complete replica of half life done in OpenGL probably wouldn't serve much purpose. BTW Screens do look cool.
  11. Well it looks really good, but there are gonna be differences between Paranoid and Half Life, right? Otherwise, it may be a bit pointless :P
  12. So my two map entries (Oilrig and Calypso Station) Don't need anything fixed, right? If they do need a bit of fixing/polishing, I have a bit of free time.
  13. Yeah, it was meant for the MAP32 slot. Its the reason why you leave the level with 200 health and armor, and every weapon. But if you want to move it, just take out the megasphere from the end, replace it with some medkits or something, and it will probably be fit for any map slot after the bfg is normally obtained.
  14. Well, if my map is moved, maybe just remove some of the power-ups at the end.
  15. Yeah, It was meant to go in one of the middle slots, map 17 actually. So about medium-hard.
  16. My map has no difficulty. Thats how awesome it is. :D
  17. Yeah, the entire map is about 3 times too small. Plus, you wouldn't have to make a stair hill with the slope functions. At least make the caves go higher, and make the bases more than a tiny nook. Its a good idea, but it all around needs improvement.

  19. Hmm, well that sucks. Looks like we might have to get a new leader if he doesn't show up. He probably is just taking a break right now or something.
  20. lol, in last screenshot, the "No permittance" sign is upside down.
  21. I think the legs look a bit too short now. And maybe his arms being 10 inches thick is a bit unrealistic.

    Alright, about the map; The outside area is a bit too dark. I'm guessing the point is to just defend the base? Its also quite bland, I wouldn't be surprised if it used less than 20 sectors. It needs something else, like towers, or low walls, or something. Anything, really. Its to a point to where I have nothing else to say, really. It just needs to be more... mappy.
