    well sorry if I said legacy same as zdoom I only meant that it is pretty basic it has no shadow nor light effects. & I also hate the 3d rendering in GZDOOM. but I love skulltag because it is simply like zdoom but it has shadow & light effects you can play single or multiplayer.

    I know but all are diffrent some like engines with no shadows & lightings & some are the oposite. some like to put the wad over the application & some want to double click & some want to chooser it from the application. I use all of them but my favorite is skulltag because it has shadows & lights & opens the wad when double clicked. p.s. there are lots of choices what did you mean by not many choices!!! & please vote & say why you voted for that engine.

    yes it did work instantly after that it worked in zdoom & skulltag too & also it did playback.

    ok I did it well one thing is missing you didn't say which is to copy the decorate in the decorate I have or else they would conflict each other the same thing with sndinfo also you need to delete SS_start end if it already exists.

    well OK I'll leave XWE because it didn't work & slumped sounds complex can you tell me how to add my downloaded monster (I don't see the merge nor the load button thats what I'm used to in XWE) so can you tell me I'll give it a try if it worked for you it will work for me.

    Need help with implementing decorate code with xwe

    I went to wiki & read the new monster decorate. well I download monsters from realm667 so the decorate is already there & from what I understood from the wiki the structure of the decorate of the monster I downloded is correct but when I go to XWE & open my wad & merge it with the monsters wad it does the following: messes up the sprites & changes them to images so I change them manually by going to change type & type 31 which means sprite. each type has a number so I changed the number to the numbers in the original wad of the monster. after that I checked the decorate code & it is the sam it is correct but when I close XWE & open Doombuilder the new monster is not in the monsters category!!!! this is the code can you tell me what is wrong with it p.s I noticed that every decorate is different from each other some have //$category monsters & some don't I tried both but no success well this is the code: ACTOR BruiserDemon 3333 { //$Category Monsters Health 1500 Radius 24 Height 64 Mass 2000 Speed 8 PainChance 15 Monster +BOSS +FLOORCLIP +LOOKALLAROUND +MISSILEEVENMORE +NORADIUSDMG MissileType BruiserBall SeeSound "superbaron/scream" PainSound "superbaron/pain" DeathSound "superbaron/death" ActiveSound "superbaron/act" MeleeSound "baron/melee" Obituary "%o was slaughtered by a Bruiserdemon."     well its bad that there is no advance text editor in doomworld for it would be better oh well it doesn't matter they build this site. First of I use XWE which is better than slumped in my opinion & easier. second of all some monsters that I downloaded from realm667 have //$category monster & some don't I tried the one that has the //$.... & didn't succeed. I know some of the apps have nothing to do with sprites but please tell don't read my crap what I want to say is easy. "tell me how to add a monster not replace but to add"
  12. well I went to [COLOR="Red"]realm 667[/COLOR] & downloaded some monsters & I [COLOR="Lime"]opened[/COLOR] [COLOR="Red"]XWE[/COLOR] & [COLOR="Lime"]added[/COLOR] the sprites of the monster in the sprites tab & the sounds in the sounds tab & the decorate & sendinfo in the lump tab. but when I go to [COLOR="Red"]doom builder[/COLOR] I do not see my monster in the monster category in things I see it in the decorate category where it is unknown & I cannot see it so can anybody tell me how to add a monster not replace but to add. I mean when I went to the sprites tab & pressed [COLOR="Lime"]load[/COLOR] & loaded the sprites I can see my monsters sprites but in doom builder I can't see it I ignored the fact that I can't see it & tested it still my monster is not their so can you tell me how to add a monster properly.   13. what does it mean! how can I close it it highlights a vertex & there is no vertex properties so how can I fix this error. knowing that when I move the vertex the lines joined to that vertex move as well so what does it mean by open!!! tell me how to fix this.

    Why is it hard to add music in the wad?

    well first of XWE doesn't except mp3 some people say it does but it doesn't so I used SlumpED & added mp3 after that I entered XWE & guess what I see my music type is MUS hh if I do this step in XWE it will say unknown format & would not except it as music or sound. well I tried to play zdoom to try it but nothing happened I tried sulltag nothing happened!!! I tried GZdoom & I heard my music then I closed GZdoom & tried Zdoom again & it worked the music worked on zdoom too I guess GZdoom fixes some problems too.
  15. all I want is to add mp3 in my PWAD some people say replace & the crazy thing they say is it works for them but when I say upload the wad so that I can see the code he says nooooooooooooooooo!!! lol how can I he explained to me things I already know as if my application is the only version that doesn't work I have the latest version of XWE. & XWE doesn't work on zdoom nor gzdoom nor skulltag. I tried many ways tried Zipped files editing mapinfo etc but no success so can anybody eplain how to do it with an example I want you to upload the wad that has this music for example music as in people singing thats what I want people say it works well I want proof I want to see the wad so that I understand what is my problem. yes one more thing please upload from filefactory.com other upload sites do not work well especially rapidshare & megaupload.
