  1. Great great news! Now I hope there will be forum activity, that will make the site feel alive.

What's a 'Let's play?' ? That stream idea is good tho. While attempting movie demos for example it would be great to watch!

Favourite Demo that you've ever seen

Favorite demos: 30NM2956 From Vile 0711NM01 From Ocelot E4NM0554 From ...Vile. To sum it up, demos from the most elegant players like Sedlo, Hi Jango or Vile make me happy. Where is this demo? I saw lv24-032, is he using sr50 for to get those times?

    Negative acceleration in Zdaemon

To let everyone know, I found out what the problem was. The mouse I use has way too much DPI (and high polling rate as well) and I just had to lower it. For the info, I have a Razer Deathadder (left-handed) with 3500dpi max. That's it! cya :)

    Negative acceleration in Zdaemon

Thanks for the answer. I tried in_mouse 1, didn't do anything :(. I don't know what to do...
  6. Hi everyone, My problem is about mouse movement. I got a negative acceleration in the RIGHT direction ONLY. Very weird. The thing is, I already use MarkC's mouse fix. (here: http://donewmouseaccel.blogspot.com/2010/03/markc-windows-7-mouse-acceleration-fix.html) It works fine for Counter Strike so I don't see why it wouldn't for Zdaemon? People told me to put the In_mouse value at 0, which was already done. It seems I get a very slight negative accel in the left direction as well, but nothing dramatic I could live with it. Any ideas?

I'm not sure I understand this table fully. What does the 'Last' column mean? Otherwise, gratz JCD! Enfoiré :p

    Final DOOM demos [-complevel 4]

Don't use dosbox in any case. At least that's what my experience with it made me conclude. It's screwy and laggy and mouse 'feeling' isn't even close to what playing the game on Win98 feels like. Or maybe my computer isn't powerful enough. Or maybe I can't configure sh** ^^ Anyway, the best advice I can give you is to find an old and dusty computer with Windows 98 that can be used for this. I bought one for 30€ (maybe a bit more?) and I'm glad I did! With a CRT screen, it's a real pleasure to play in that 320 resolution ;)

    Final DOOM demos [-complevel 4]

Amazing stuff! Glad to see you back! Does that mean we're going to see a new 30nm? :p I was wondering if any of you guys were going to record on vanilla to get credited in compet-n? Because that's a pity not to have 'official' records imo.
  10. Thanks, I should have thought about this :p Btw, my pacifist time for Map02 should count as UV Speed too right?
  11. Is there a table anywhere gathering all the times on this wad?

    Doom Speedrun Youtube Channel

I kind of like to watch demos using the original engine of the game. So when I watch something that came out of pr or glboom, I prefer it to be as nice as it can get to the eyes, and not actually faithful to the game (like mouse movement etc.) But that's just me :p

    Doom Speedrun Youtube Channel

Nice idea ;) I already subbed! But there's something about the video quality that bothers me, or maybe I'm wrong? When I watch this run http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Q3QDmOMnNc&feature=channel_video_title Then this one uploaded on your channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_zFNbDH0Pw&feature=channel_video_title It does seem to me that the one uploaded by Ryback is more fluid? I watched them with the 720p and wide-screen settings. Or is it only me?
  14. Oh well, I'm just going to install Boom then. Well, it seems the vanilla doom recorded demos don't play back on prboom?
  15. I can't read your demos with vanilla doom, idk why :/ Too bad, wanted to give those maps a try!
