      Quite an impressive list. Can you say how much time you need for a deathmatch level on average?

      just to make a run of the mill, reasonably good DM map? I can crank one out in about an hour. Add another hour or two for fixing up item placement and texture uglies if it's one I think deserves the attention though!

      Wow... I wish I could do that. I mean being able to map at a somewhat reasonable pace. Any room I come up with feels like giving birth for me at this point, but it's probably because I lack the basic experience to tell what to do at which in point in time, to be any "efficient" to begin with. As a friend of mine (a pinball geek) once said, "You need to learn how to walk before you can 'Stetta'."
