I'm using a personal weapons mod which replaces the doomguy with a female marine. I got some resources from various projects and turned them into my own mod with my own decorate and some custom sprites, though the gameplay is exactly the same. Sometimes I need a break from the original assets.

I don't mind it at all, from both a mapper and a player perspective.

Community Chest 2 MAP24 track. Sunlust MAP01 track. New Doom Community Project 2(NDCP2) MAP24 track(which I currently use for a map).

I did that to the Chainsaw in Decorate, so I don't have to leave any weapon behind. I'm one of those folks who can't leave weapons behind.

Sometimes when I'm in need of inspiration, I just google museum architecture and look for some interesting pictures. I use music for the mapping process itself.

I like the Mancubi, both from artistic and gameplay point of view. It looks really cool and make scary and alarming sounds, especially if it catch you off-guard. And it actually fun to fight because of its high pain chance and easy to place in maps. It got enough HP to cause troubles and can inflict a good damage to the player, even kill an unarmoured one if he cant dodge properly. All in all, one of the better monsters in Doom.

I still think it should have a biting attack to prevent players from cheesing the fight. Would be more interesting.

Use and Pavera's fish avatars have always been a classic for me.

I absolutely love Heretic. I think some of the levels blow doom out of the water and I actually think the Crossbow is the most fun to use weapon in both games combined. Some of the monsters feel lazy and poor(weredragon) while others feels great and unique(ironlich) and I think the artwork is cool. Heretic just need more love in the texture department and in general.

Thumbs up for the second video in the series, can't wait for the third. It's good to see that although there are many people discussing at the same time, there aren't many moments of derailing the subject and seeing both the map being played on screen and talked about at the same time really helps understanding the points being made. Really interesting stuff.

Gez probably mean regarding the Revenant that if you cause him to shoot too many homing missiles and save while they chase you, you might trigger an error.
