      Well, half the thread here seems to find the elevator hobby weird and obsessive, likely due to its user [who used to nearly spam about politics and repeat crap, but now turned to a less warlike area of interest], so I'm giving some justification in its favour, by saying what it might be useful/practical for, so critics would stop attacking the OP on sight or considering this hobby crazy, dumb or useless. Why I said "that I hope"? Because I was hoping it's indeed not a crazy, dumb or useless pastime, so that I still have reasons to defend this.

      But part of me definitely thinks the words you quoted, DuckReconMajor.
