Ah, I was under the impression that TEXTURE1 was a container for textures and all the stand alone textures were patches. That clears some things up.

I am using XWE. I am looking to edit the DOOM 2 Texture1.lmp lump. I have my reasons, a backup and I don't want to use patches. How can I do this
