    WIP WAD not yet named

    yeah the plan is to add few cutscenes, not much and few hudmessages poiting what to do, but in the end the player will do whatever he wants to do, I mean it will be a HUB map, so he can start however he wants
  3. So I'm working on my little project that will feature HUB maps. You start from docks to arrive to a base but you came too late. You have to get beyond the old sector deep into the caverns. The base was build over ancient temple with a gateway. You have to fight through the base, in administrative department, military department, research department and restricted area. It's stil in pre-alpha and the time needed to complete is yet unknown, that's why I'm looking for a mapping partner. Here are some really bad screens since not much is done yet. I only do like hour or two per day.

    ZDoom Online?

    So few "years" ago I used to play Doom or rather Zdoom online, and now I cannot seem to find the app, what I remember it was a standalone app that worked with zdoom and when loaded it had a server list where you would connect and if necessary WAD would be downloaded, there used to be crazy WADs that had like infinite ammo with 2 or 3x the shooting speed, plenty of cyberdemons and other monsters and huge open areas, so anyone any idea what the program was or is? Thanks

    looks good, I used to play deathmatches but I cannot remember through what program I played it, it was online (duh) had many servers and my favorite one was with those crazy absurd WADs that had like thousands of cyberdemons and you had infinite ammo on every weapon, aah good ol' days, anyways I'll let you know through PM if I will need something as for now I'm not sure what I will need if I stumble to something I'll let you know, okay? but thanks for help anyways, also I'm still looking for a mapping partner

    ah, that's bad, I'm really looking for someone who can make decent maps with good details well as for midis I compose my own songs and I use mp3s instead but as for sounds and sprites well maybe you could have something I could use hopefully by the end of the year I will be able to post some screens since the progress is quite slow

    I think you've read it wrong, that up there is a map I did in co-op with someone and I'm working on a new project, current project has better sky and other stuff but the point is that I wanted to show what I was capable and am capable of making so now I'm looking someone to work with on my latest project

Hi guys, so I was looking for some skybox textures, but no luck finding the right ones, what I'm looking for is a sky with clouds - even though I don't know anymore how to make that, I had an example WAD if anyone has it, it was with a night city I think, anyways, what I'm looking for: Daylight sky, 3-ways: one side should be a city in a distance, best if on hills, other 2 sides should be mountains connected to the "city" and third one should be blank sky (sea side) if anyone could help me somehow I would be really grateful (will post WIP wad if I make "playable" advancement)

    Script to regenerate health overtime

    thanks a lot for the script, I'll have a look on it and will use it in my wad, hopefully I will post my WIP in a few weeks, since I'm doing it alone and I want lots of stuff in it it will take a while, but I'm making some progress
  18. So as the title says, is it possible to make a script that will regenerate health over time? Like in FPS games, once damaged after 3-5 seconds health will gain 1%/sec ? Thanks in advance

    ok but how do I connect them? an example would be good cause plain text for me is not the best to use, I learn faster from examples Edit: well I've looked in mapinfo in cheogsh2, but what I want to achieve is 4 hubs in 1 map. is that even possible? like player will enter a hall which leaves to 4 areas, I want those 4 areas as 4 different maps. Edit 2: nevermind, it works

    Hi, haven't been here for a while. I just want to ask if there is someone who would be so kind and help me compile few stuff into a pk3 file? What I want to have: Custom monsters, weapons, keys, props, spawners (cloud, rain, snow, etc.), powerups. Most of them are found on realm667, I tried it my self, I got 1/2 of them working then I got thousands of errors, I tried it in pk3 style, with directories etc. So all Im asking for is someone to precompile me a empty map with predefined stuff so I can already start mapping with custom stuff, hope you understand what I want to do. Thanks

    I could PM you with the things that I want (all are available on realm667) well, there were more errors, after which I "fixed" one, another appeared, also when it finally executed with no errors, still many things werent listed in DECORATE and if they were, they didnt work, so if you would be so kind and help me premade this pk3 tell me and I will send you a PM with stuff I want, thanks

    How can I define these buttons? BT_USER1 through BT_USER4 also if I want to make a script where player needs to have 2 or more energy to activate something, how do I make that? like if (energy = 1) like that but except there wont be a = but what? Thanks

    too complicated for me :D I just wanted to have BT_USER1 set as Q, 2 as E, 3 as Z and 4 as G, maybe Ill stick to trial and error then lol, but thanks
