November 10th, 2000 - Beta Radiation.
OINTMENT

Hm well I'm gonna spend the day to prepare the new Beta to be released to the team. Specially Cocoon and Sam Woodman who never even seen a eariler one.
The Map08 is almost complete. I got very little left on this map. Funny though. It should have been done months ago. But for some reason it became very big eventhough it was intended to be small. I exeded 900 sectors on it yesterday. Well. Most of my maps are close to be done. all but one wich I haven't started on yet. (guess wich, MWUAHAHAHAHA)

Map04 was ready for scripting. But now I'll have to remove a little something or my new ideas for the script won't be fit. But it'll sure be 1337. Explosives and shit.

I've updated the Nimrod and Info sections a bit. So now the right information is available. I've also fixed links to some of the files we offer for download, the others I'll have to upload again. I was alos thinking of updating the screenshots of Nimrod but since I won't release any new I let the ones from Kristian Aro's now defunkt map stay up. Atleast they show some cool textures.

If the Leveldesigners work on and we don't run into any complications we could expect Nimrod not to far into the future.

BTW I finally made a new titelpic. It's the 3rd or 4th and it finally is some that I'm content with. No more big pic of Nimrod battling his ass off on the titel. looked to "not nimrod". Nimrod is pretty dark in it's atmosphear so I made something that fit for it better. Bah what the hell am I saying. It fits like a glove it's the perfect titelpic. I was intentionally gonna use my own graphic for it but I ripped a little pic from something most of you will recognize. But that's ok really. No point in making the same pic when I already got a perfectly good one to copy that even the great Ola Björling have used.
Anyway, you'll love it. It's so sweet.

Ok I received a mail the day after last update. It was from Sam Woodman (Site) who asked to join Nimrod team. I must say I was very supriced.

Anyway I told him that he was welcome in all ways he wanted and now I have to upload a Nimrod beta earlier than I had planned ;)

Oh no. Not for you. and to make sure no more misshapps occur I'll be P/W protecting it.

November 3rd, 2000 - 10 sectors in my pants.
Ok this time I'm listening to Lagwagons song Stokin the Neighbours. It's about a dude who's D.U.I. Wheeeeeee!

The 10 sectors wad is almost completed. I am on nails and hairdues in anticipation of seeing what is in there and all.

Map04 is as good as complete. Just have to add monsters and scripts.
Map10 have been idling a while, all maps by me have in fact. I haven't had much time or urge to work on them. But I think it will clear up now. Just had some good news. :)

BTW Halloween is this weekend. and i got work. :( Me and my friends are the best dressers in this shitty town. Bah.

People have been hassling me about screenshots from Nimrod. But I hate to make screenshots. You play the extremely eerie and really atmosphearic map with it's sounds and music and then make it a screenshot and it suddenly is very much less cool. So unless I got something to show I won't take anymore.

I've been fooling around with Quake3 radiant editor. IE Id's own q3 map maker. It's pretty simple really. If you aren't common to vireframes it may be a bit complex after a while when the maps grow but you got a 3d window where you see it all happen. :) Kinda like in Build for duke3d.

Necromancer. Yeah. Ph33r.

Necromancer is the project me and SoM are currently planning. It was started first a few years ago and then restared from scratch last year but now again we have cleard the sheats of paper and been thinking it out the last few months. Necromancer is just planned like what Rendering we should use etc. BSP or Octree and so on. Anyway. As soon as Nimrod is released I will completely bury myself into Necromancer. Aaaaah. It'll be extremely much fun to create, and hopefully even more fun to play.
Anyway, there's the old Necromancer section up but you can forget everything that's said there.

Ok back to this Doom shit.
Nimrod is actually not that far away. Atleast I don't think so. All the new weapons are done. 7 as complete. the ones we don't use are chainsaw and SSG. Reason. we don't need them. Plus I don't wanna make them. Maps are getting finished. So is graphics and sounds. Once all maps are done and all there'll be very close to done.

October 17th, 2000 - Wheeeee.
I'm sitting here listening to NOFX and making Doom stuff taking brakes playing Skulltag.

Played team with Orion agains Ultimus and xxenemyxx. We kicked their asses. Me and Orion had the same frag count sometimes he were in the lead sometimes I were. Ultimus and xxenemyxx had the same frags as us, just, about -20 hahaha.
BTW did I mention we kicked their asses?

Map04 is soooo close to be finished. Map08 is also pretty close an so is Map10. Aaaaaah. nice. I'll be kicking Map07 to the vultures. Noone need it. It's to undetailed and to big to detail now. Weird though, 500+ sectors shouldn't be that undetailed. When I made it a few years ago it was nice, not now though.

I blame the old editor I used. it was easy to use and all that but it wasn't very good to use if you wanted to make detail. Actually it wasn't very good at all to make detail with.

More cool stuff. SoM sent me Map01 few days ago. Fully scripted. Now I'm making some texture fixes to it. It's a bit err. Bad at some places.
Richie "Skarj" Gay told me he had got the textures working in Wadauthor now so I could expect some sweet shit from him in the near future. :))

Hmm. well I'm making some other stuff to but I'll keep quiet about it for now. May not be used and so. anyway.

BTW SoM is making som really sweet shit for Nimrod. Damn bitch. I'll be very much extremely cool.

Hmm One more thing. The 3D floors. Wheeee. They rule, anyway. I noticed how I've grown used to them. In the beginning I only added them on places where I was using the zDoom way to make 3d bridges and on places I thought. Dammit i gotta use the 3d floors, so I would make a barr from one wall to the other just cause I had them. Now I'm pretty much using them well all over, it looks great and I can make cooler detail in the ceiling wich alow me to make detailed places w/o making stuff to get stuck in in DM. Lucky for you they're not as the EDGE floors. ;) I wan't Doomshack back.

October 3rd, 2000 - I'm back in black.
Damn that constructive pause was really constructive. I'm back to edeting. Now I'm once again keeping 4 different maps in the edeting loop. 3 for nimrod and 1 for something awful (erm wonderful I mean).

10 sectors
You know I'd mention it. Well sweet shit is going on it seem. 10 sweetass maps have been picked out by Dixon as be specially Kickass so far. Hope the rest comes along soon. and we'll have the fastest made Megawad ever.

I sure hope one of those maps are mine. I've gotten very good comments on it from people who played it. Actually I was supriced on how much people liked the architecture. Hoefully people will figure it out and like the gameplay equally as much. I sure liked it anyway.

In case people don't like my map as much as I hope, well then I've payed one of the judges to give it great points ;).

September 29th, 2000 - Reviews and stuff for you to read.
Yeah that's right. Read that review of Only the Strong over at The Doomers Resess? Yeah that's a kickass Map, I know. Sascha "The Prophet" Müller made it. He's also making this kickass map for Nimrod currently called "A Map" ;)
Did I mention it kicks ass?

I'm taking a little constructive paus in Doom Level edeting. I've been exausted by all the work I've had for the last 2.5 months. (The kinda work were you get payed) I've been working everyday for weeks in a row. Like out of 8 nights I was working 6, that's including a weekend. That's not good. Well that's over now and I can relax :)

Anyway. the thing is I've been disencouraged to make any maps. I want to make maps and I got a few cool ideas going but I just to tired. Dammit. Maybe I'll shove a screenshot in your faces to compensate. ;)

I've bought a scanner aswell. Cool now I can send my Sketches to Steven so he can tell me theyre not good enough ;) Well. heh. yeah.

BTW Legacy 3-D floors look sweet as hell. and for you who are afraid it'll be as much a slowdown as EDGE's floors I can tell you, nothing to worry about. EDGE use the GL bsp tree. Legacy got the same ol shit it's always had before. :). In other words. No sweat.

10 sectors: Yeah it's over and all. and I still can't stop talking about it. Hmm I wonder who wins. It wouldn't hurt if I won. I know of someone who could have use for that card. (not me)

Hey I've uploaded my old site again. But in Shtml now so Wmull can have his bannercode.

I've added a little section called latest screenshot. It's in the horizontal menu bar were shit like the Poll and such is.

My 10 sector map have been sent in but I might make a few adjustments to it. Map10 of Nimrod is nearing completeion. a few more areas and, presto!

We got quite a few more maps coming together for the PC. One is made by each one of the following authors.

Juli 6th, 2000 - Agagagagag... Pre-release... AGAGAG
Heh. Some of you might remember me mentioning something about making a pre-release. That is no longer possible I'm afraid.

We've (I've) added so much stuff to Ni'mRoD that's not in the currently released version of Legacy. Like 3d floors and scripts. The scripts will soon not be there anymore anyway since they'll be replaced by Fraggle scripts so it's not any real difference anyway.
Since you still won't be able to play it.

I've completed 50% of the job I got for the "Doom something" (where something is a case of x and y) and if I get the other 50% finished this week I may consider to get me some more procent to complete.

Map04 in Ni'mrod is proceeding (look screenshot from older update) well BTW: It's about 1/3 made on it I'd guess. It'll be small to fit 1 on 1 Dm's. The 3d floors look very well in it and I've made some cool shit on it, and since there's noone guiding you trough it you might find it hard to complete since people often tell me they can't find their way in my maps. But on this case I don't care.

Right now I'm waiting for the new contributors to send me some cool stuff.

Ok. Lookie. we got ourselfes a new host. NewDoom.Com. They got a fast server and that's pretty much all I know atm.

I've received two applicants for places as level designers. One is already in. The otherone I'm waiting for to send me something new so I can check out if he got the skills. Wich I'm quite sure he do.

Back to the one that's already been accepted and have joined. Hi's nicked Sascha. and you can download his latest map "Only the Strong" from his webpage.
It's a really cool Castle level that deserves the download.

June 28th, 2000 - New host.
Until I can mail Quakecity and ask why the hell my account is off the web again (not really though, I can still load it with my ftp browser) this place will have to do.

I've let the last update I made still be on the main page since I'm not sure if it was ever seen by the visitors.
Well Fraggle script will be added to Legacy and if I could find someone to script in it for me so would I be happy. (I don't feel like learning a new script just because of Ni'mRoD)

BTW I've noticed a bug in Legacy Windows version. This is a problem with different colorplatettes (BOOM) that create colored light in sectors. I'll tell SoM about it and I'm sure he'll ahve it fixed in no time.

June 8th, 2000 - Shit is happening..
New cool stuff has been added to Legacy, by me and SoM. Well actually. I was talking and he was coding. Good cooperation I think, he got some really good results, and there's more on the way. I got a exclusive pre-release of the dos version and I'm adding stuff as a mad goat.

I've joined another project. If you can guess wich you can win a twinkie. (Hint: It's something with Doom)

If anyone wonders who made that logo for SoM's cool new page it was me. (Gotta get some credit:)

Yeah. Scripting with Ni'mRoD is advancing with giant steps. I have created very cool stuff. Oh I almost forgot. That Cmap2l tool was cool. I made a very well made mud colormap. It really looks like filth unlike it does in wads like FFI where everything just get switched to brown, making it look like everything is ok just that it turned brown in a sudden.(Sorry about that Nitro and Pennywise, just staded an example)

What else is new?... Oh yeah. I'm almost finished with map06. It's very good map considering it used to be a very undetailed map. It's still not the most detailed map but it's looking ok and I like it, and that's what matters to me. Boom effects are being added to all teh maps aswell. Map06's sewer tunnel is really great with the Mud water in it.

May 31st, 2000 - No News pages updated about my last update.
But DoomHq. But that was about two hours ago so it was kinda late.

Steven (SoM) will soon begin programming on Necromancer, from scratch since our last who quit dumped everything he got for some reason. Anyway. This game wil ROCK.

Soon I have broke the 1000 barrier. I'm just 100 sectors away from crossing the 1000 mark on my map Map10: Stroggo Outpost Alpha in Ni'mRoD. You got quite an intresting mission on that map to. If I may Say So Myself.

I talked to Quasar about half an hour ago. It seem as Eternity is in Jeopardy. Quasar is fed up with peopl not keeping their promesis. (Aren't we all) So he might release it as is for everyone to behold and use in their projects. Including the weapons I've made for it. I hope this wont happen cause I really wanna see eternity finished. But I have sometimes wondered if I shouldn't leave over Ni'mrod to someone else to. But then I've realised that it's better if I just work on it really slow or it will never be released.

Where the did all that come from. Don't worry Nimrod will come. sooner or later. with a maximum of 11 maps.

That's right. As it seem now there will not be very many maps in nimrod. Darco haven't I heard from in about 4 months, dispite numerous mails and icq messages. Aro quit the team, and Saint sent me a crappy map. Hope he does better on teh next he'll make. If he still is in the team. Maybe I should mail him and ask.

May 29th, 2000 - Devul influence.
I used to be quite mediocre at making maps. I made pretty small levels with fair detail. But since I've started making Ni'mrod wich was in the beginning the same crap levels as I always did exept I was trying to make these bigger and more spiced up with as little alignment errors and such as possible. As time went along I realise that this wasn't good enough. So I started to remove old maps making new spicing up maps like map03 and suddenly I couldn't make a small map anymore.

Seriously

I tried to make Map08 a quick run but suddenly I was up in over 700 sectors and there was no way it was gonna stop there. I had so much left to put on the map. This may sound stupid as hell but that's the way it is. The same thing is going on with map10, it just won't get to a close.

BTW I've orderd my new computer now. 700 Mhz and 28 G HD with a matrox millennium card I should be covered for a year atleast :)

Vote Dammit. If there's noone voting I will get cranky for wasting my damn time coming up with silly options to vote on.

I made two (2) DM maps for Darkening E2 a wile back. and the'll be more. But since Ola didn't wan't people to make maps that used the darkening wad but instead used the darkening texture wad I didn't release them in wait of the texture wad. But if I'll have to wait much longer I may become a bit of a bad boy, and release them anyway.

Map 02 : The Crate Factory. Is nearing completion. I have made alot of shit on it but I have noticed something horrible with Legacy. You can't put more than 1 player 1 start on the map. If you do the others won't appear and that sucks since many SFX is depending of this, including some cool effects I have thought out tha last weeks. I'm currently trying to work around this but there's no way to eb sure what the outcome will be.

I've been working som with the links section on my new page and it's getting rather big. I got a whole bunch of In progress project links. Hopefully I'll soon be up and then I'll probably will update about my regular doom stuff there instead. and keep this place to strictly Unholy matters.

My new page will be sort of a graphical smash. Very neat IMO. May give hints on what Ni'mrod will look like at some places.

Steven (StroggOnMeth) may join in on Necromancer since our last programmer left to create another game that some american company would release for them later. If I learn how to use Lightwave I may get in on it too. Depends on how good they think I am. :)

May 22th, 2000 - Shite. I gotta speed up on these goddam updates.
People need something to rant about and if I don't make updates there'll be very few things to complain about. ;)

Anyhow. Since I'm the kinda guy that loves to release things more than actually create them, I'm wondering if I should create a 3 level pre-release of Ni'mrod. The question is. Is there any point in making a pre-release on a game that'll only have 11 or 12 levels? Well if you got opinions there's a poll up about it.

BTW last poll was a intresting matter. 5 people would D/L Ni'mrod when it's released. 5 others had no clue wtf it is and a bucha other people hate my guts, and probably wanna kick my ass to.

There's a new page coming soon. I've almost finished it. Just gotta get all sections of it finalised and then it'll probably appear on doomshacks server, and if it do I'll have to update very frequently or Doomfreak will have my ass for breakfast.

Oh yeah I almost forgot. I got out of the public service called the army yesterday. I salubrated by giving me a severe hangover. but after a couple of pills and gallons of coca cola it was almost gone. I'm also thinking of dying my hair black or red again... maybe both. :) striped black and red would look awesome. and a mohawk on that. I love it.

After been in the army for far to long my hate against it have grewn even stronger and my band have never had so much lyric material ever before. Some of it is really furious like. I hate I hate I hate etc etc. Cool huh? Some of it is a bit more constructive tho. But the thoughts that went trough my head all that time I was over there was I hate the officers I hate this place I hate my life etc etc.

Since Doom Legacy got these new Boom effects I've come up with a huge ammount of awesome Special FX that'll be used in Ni'mrod. Apart from the wicked effects I've already came up with befor the merge. I rule. I know it, and when Ni'mrod is released you'll know it too.

Hot shit is happening
I've managed to collect 17000 sek (swedish money wich is in exchange value about a ninth (9) orh an eighth (8) of american dollars) in other words about 2000 $ wich will give me a pretty wicked computer here. So now there'll be nomore software mode in Ni'mrod for me. More like hot spanking open gl, I'm also doing a bit of freelance graphics work for warious homepages. One is called Seekwap and will soon be up on the web and another is called wakenet AB (wakenet.se).se means it's swedish.

There's also stuff happenign that may give me little free time so I wanna get nimrod released as soon as possible. So any map designers that got talent. (like anyone from the darkening team kindofthing) Send me a mail.

April 29th, 2000 - To far between updates.
Yeah Here I am again. I was gone for three weeks and when I got back last weekend I didn't feel like doing anything for Unholy so there were nothing to update about, BTW I didn't feel like doing that either.

I've been playing around with the latest version of legacy for the past days (that I've been home that is). Learning how to make Boom effects modifying the maps to have boom effects and trying to finalize a few things that's been laying around ready on paper just not put into the maps or such yet. But since I'll be gone for most likely 3 more weeks now after this weekend I feel very little motivated.

Daniel Knapp sent me his map of the sewer system. I didn't like it so I gave him a few suggestions. More on that later as it progress.

Necromancer may be in jeopardy since our programmer have got a paying gig. So he might not be able to work on it. Can't say I blame him if he left. Probably would do the same thing if I got the same opportunity and there were no time left for Unholy.

Right now I'm listening to Offsprings fourth album Ixnay on the Hombre. All I want is a kickass song.

BTW for you guys and girls who still wonder why the hell it's called Ni'mRoD : Ixnay on the Hombre. Here's teh cut.

Ni'mrod shall not be confused with the american slang word Nimrod wich means dumbass. Ni'mrod is the name of anchient hunter according to 1 Mos. 10.-1. Translated meaning ironicly. Eager Hunter.

No I don't read the bible. this is what it say in my encyclopedia. (forgive eventual crappy spelling, there were quite a few words I'm not sure about how to spell)

"Ixnay on the hombre" is translated "away with the man". Wich is the intresting plot in Ni'mrod. To be short the demons initiate operation Ixnay on the Hombre in the beginning of the game and in the end ... Well you'll have to see for your self. :)

As for the connection with Offspring, yes I got the name from the song and cd. For any intrested in the song itself it's nowardays called "Pay the man" but was also reffered to as stoneheghe and Away with the man. Was also supposed to be on Ixany on the hombre cd but fell out cause it didn't fit in. (So was D.U.I)

April 1st, 2000 - Wooooow, major hiatus.
Wow we're back again. but now on www.quakecity.net/unholy instead of www2.quakecity.net/unholy. But that's no matter since we're soon gonna be at unholy.quakecity.net. (Looks heaps better don't it?:)

Ni'mRoD have had some major ass progress on Map08 and it's still going on forward. I made most of the map in on about a week. It's very detailed aswell. Looks really kickass.I've got some kickass ideas for map02 and map10 aswell so there'll be some wast progress on those two once I've managed to let go of Map08's editing spree. Legacy will have Boom support soon aswell (atleast it looks like it) so I gotta rework some of the maps a bit. but if we would remake them to be more boom all together that'd be taking a couple of months so I won't do that cause I wanna release this puppy as soon as its finished and besides. The maps are kickass anyway so who needs Boom effects. I'll just use them mainly to improve places like making moving conveyor belts and have instant teleportings instead of a remade teleporter that's being used now for some places (well I think it's only one soo far).

Daniel "Saint" Knapp of Ogre and www.Doomsphere.com have joined in on Ni'mRoD to make Map04 and probably map07. He's already finished with the sewer part of Map04, he tells me. I can't wait to see some screenshots of it.

Ni'mRoD beta tester... Soon there'll be a new Beta version of Ni'mrod to test. this one is to see if I managed to get it work under Open GL and to try out the scripts. Since I'm the only one that have ever run them I dunno if anyone else would figure out how to do it. But that'll be in a month or so when I've got the chance to put in code screens so you know wtf to type in the consol.

I D/Led Hacx yesteday and played it for a couple of hours between my editing "sessions" and it feels a bit odd to play. Aside from that the maps is pretty Linear easy and not possible to go back in to get the stuff you needed to leave behind it's good. GFX is great but I dunno what's with some of the maps. Lava annex or what the hell it was called was cool but it pissed me off that I couldn't go back for those powerups I left to get later. Nevermind. I'll get over it once I get to the next map. Darkmatching
I'm working on a small Dm map addon for Darkening E2. So far I've made two maps and they is some badass bloodbaths. More info once I get my new page up that's more about me and what I do instead of Unholy's team work.

Doomworld/Doomnation
Doomworld got a poll about doomnation. when I type doomnation.com I come to doomworld. When I type dooworld.com then I come to doomnation. Aliens? Defenitley.(Cause the days date probably got nada to do with it)

Necromancer
Heh. Finally got a logo finished for Necromancer. Atleast somewhat finished. I'll probably modify it later but this is, if you wanna call it something the version 1.0 :)

I've touched up the places around the site some to be more up to date. but it's not much to go lookng for.

Ni'mRoD
Heh again. Damn DCK isn't of any use to me anymore. I gotta use Deth cause map10 got to be to big for DCK to handle. Something about to many verticises or some crap like that.
Other maps have been touched upon aswell. I've re-established contact with Darco and so on. But he seem to be an awfully lot offline so it takes me a wile to receive answers from him.

I've tried to get the damn legs on the boss for Ni'mRoD but every time I load up the file I get so damn unmotivated so I just load up another file and work on that instead.

Map 04 gotta have some curse over it or something. First (one year ago) I assigned it to Oniko. He never got started. Then 6 months later I got Kristian Aro to work on it, he started on it but he's so damn busy (like all of us I guess) so it's moving very slow. Some voodoo crap maybe ;)

The Original Map02 From Ni'mRoD

This was the first map I made for Ni'mrod. It was late and me and Markus decided to go ahead and start Ni'mRoD and see where it took us. So We sat down by my comp and I started the map. It's a fairly good map. Wich requires Jumping and Mlook. Only tested with Legacy but It should work with zDoom and DosDoom aswell but, I recommend Legacy since the distances is mesured out to fit the jumping in it.

Febuary 5th, 2000 - I wanna release, show or give something.
But what? I've made some really asskicking places in Ni'mrod they are so great I don't wanna show them in advance. I've also made a few more walls and shit but that's not much to show off. Sure they are great looking and stuff like that but "look a wall" isn't much of a treat.

Not much to talk about really. I've made more "scripts" and a hlp file is being worked on but since noone have been able to send Q and shit there's a bit of low on material to type up.

Necromancer
Yeah. Necromancer have had some progress. I've been working with the environments and MSwitch have tried to put some time away to code it. Wich he managed to do aswell cause he fixed a serious bug with the GFX engine and when it worked he said he added some cool stuff. I have no idea what this cool stuff is though but I'll guess I'll found out in time.

January 30th, 2000 - The army is ruining my will to live.
I thought I'd make myself a little progress report to sum up what was done in Nimrod.

Maps
Map01: Tei Tenga , Ready.
Map02: The Crate Factory , Coming to a close.
Map03: Transport Central , Ready
Map04: The Sub Sewers , It's being worked on. how much I don't know.
Map05: Forgot it's name. Like this one the least. But I guess it's finished kinda. I'll know when I receive the beta report :)
Map06: The Unknown Outpost , I've added som detail to it but it's getting quit uplayable on my computer. Good sign I dunno :), just a little bit more detail and I'll consider it finished.
Map07: Nuklear Refinery (I think) , Yeah. It's a map I'd Like to finish now. and I will probably do that to. It's big without being big. and it got less detail yet it uses up a whole lot of sectors. Weird? Yes.
Map08: Untitled , Very early but then again it doesn't have to be big. and it looks great IMHO.
Map09: Untitled , Darco is finisheing it up I think. Great huh?
Map10: Stroggo Outpost Alpha , I had a breaktrough with this a few days ago and made a rather whole lot of it. It's my favorit map in the set and It's probably the best map I've ever done. Maybe not but what the heck.
Map11: Hm Yeah well I's not going to be any big. I got a map started but I doubt I'll use that one.

There might be more maps or less. it's pending on what I'll get done or receive from Darco etc.

Sprites and monsters
There might be a hurlder monster in it to but tha'ts not settled. The Boss is still not finished 3d studio wise so he'll be a wile. But then again. he can wait since he'll only be in the last level. maybe the map befor that to I dunno.

Scripts
Well since it's limited I have came up with things to do to make the text change into different colors and stuff that might be comprimising in Coop but who gives a fuck. I think I've managed to get them farly good. But unfortunately there's only one way to trigger the scripts and that's by using the consol.
However to prevent cheating there's ways to destroy a cfg file after it's been read so it might be fixable to prevent cheats such as running a script where you receive a loaded weapon more that once.

Sounds
Aside from maybe adding some ambient sounds and some weapon and monster sounds there won't be much new sounds in nimrod. so It's not much about it. however it's still not finished. :)

Well I've found out that Ni'mrod would probably been almost ready by now if it wasn't for the bloody army wich I hate so much.

January 22nd, 2000 - My ICQ list.
For some sick reason my ICQ decided that I should re-register, and while I was at it it figured I might just aswell remake my ICQ list. I wasn't amused. So now I have tried to rebuild the list but I'm missing alot of names. Well almost all of them as a matter of fact.

January 19th, 2000 - Hm, it's growing.
I've noticed that the maps in Ni'mrod, well atleast Map10 is being pretty huge. I've made what I think is about 1/3 of it an I'm already up in over 500 sectors. So either it's very big or it's alot more detailed than the others. For instance Map06 is on 503 and it is almost finished. Another map Map03 that is finished is on 537 wich is the approximate same ammount as Map 10 is on ATM.

Darco sent me a few old screenshots of his level that's being close to finished if I'm correct. He also said he might start on a new map for Ni'mrod.

Eventhough we fixed the bug witch made it unplayable with Doom2 we encountered a new one that makes the game crash in GL mode everytime you try to start a map aside from map05. This is very disturbing cause I wanna see the cool light effects in GLNi'mrod.

DoomShack Bugs Me
That damn ad at doomshack is really pissing me off. Everytime I visit the page (quite often) that damn installation shit appears, I even installed it so it might go away and leave me alone but Noooooo. Dammit I hate that shit. Get rid of it, now.

January 10th, 2000 - Well, Bugs fixed.
Ni'mRoD:
Yeah, I've fixed the annoying bug. So all we can all play Ni'mrod again. I've also started to type down Cfg files to give Ni'mrod some sort of caracter conversation, and mission breifing.

Unfortunately The Legacy crew have been a bit sloppy when they made the exec config system for Legacy so I can't have the files load when you cross a certain linedef or walk into a certain sector. Wich sucks cause currently you have to go to the consol when you get a code whit's is'nt harder to crack than checking out the filename in the Ni'mrod directory. This can also give cheating a great rush. Cause on Map02 you meet a dude called Havoc who tells you muy bien stuff and gives you a very cool Mayhem Gun. So by loading this script file more than once you'll get a reloaded Chaingun every time. Good? defenitely not.

The same thing goes for the mission breifing. Wich isn't as a big a problem since you won't be able to cheat by receiving breifing from levels further ahead since you won't get any guns or the likes in the breifing.

However, Ni'mrod got alot cooler when you got cool interactions with in game caracters.

Necromancer:
Just to make everything about Necromancer clear to people who might not know.
Necromancer donesn't have anything to do with either Ni'mRoD or Doom.

However, the coding of it is slow right now cause of real life issues. (Heard it all before) But I guess MSwitch will take it up again once all that school crap wears off some.
New lead caracter (The Necromancer) is coming along nicely. I'm getting quite sure about how he's upper body's gonna look like.

We broke 1000
Well We've broken 1000 hits, wich pisses me off. I've had to change counter several times last year so we actually got far more than 1000 hits last year.

Oh well, Happy Fucking New Millennia.
