weird video anomalies

I just started playing Doom3. I noticed that on the first level after I crossed over to the other section on mars, (where the Chinese dude wigs out and attracts you for the first time), I sometimes see weird video anomalies, short squiggly white lines in dark places that will go away after you move. Anyone one else getting this?

Yes, when my card was overheating.
