Bitty then crashes

I have a E Machines 5240 PC. It has the correct MB, GH & has Intel 4 yet my dsic is very bitty & crashes as soon as I get through the first door of the first level. EVen the intro scene is slow & blocky.

I tried downloading direct X & I think i have it..I tried downloading a file from nvidia & it still doesnt work.

can anyone help?

I dont know the exact graphics processor on your machine, but if it's an intel integrated processor then Im betting it's not capable of meeting doom3's requirements.

You can find the requirements here, including supported video cards. Make sure your system specs meet these requirements.
