How to extract models from BFG Edition?

Okay, basically I wanna extract a shotgun model from Doom 3 BFG Edition, but I can't figure out how. Help?

Solution:
1) Buy and download original Doom 3.
2) Extract shotgun model from one of the .pk3 files..

In other words, afaik, you can't extract anything from BFG edition.. I tried to extract some resources myself not a long time ago, but they're all hidden in special .resources files, which can't be opened, afaik..

Eh, I found some gmod models for the Doom 3 weapons, and I was able to go through the process of converting them to FBX.

Is there any difference between Doom 3 models and BFG models? I doubt its anything big really.

Extract from the PK4 files of Doom 3.

It's just easier to get them from vanilla Doom 3. They're exactly the same and they're not locked down under Bethesda's cryptic file system I assume is supposed to stop pirates getting the game so easily.
